Disappointed with the food, Jägerschnitzel pressed meat, ready-made sauce from Knorr, canned mushrooms, even the salad was ready. The price was even worse, 11.50 for the schnitzel, 3.50 for the fries and 3.50 for the salad. With a drink for two people 45 euros. Good thing we didn't have to pay for parking. I don't care much for reviews but 4.5 stars for a place like this is absolutely not possible.

I thought it was really nice. What else but food in the adjacent clinic. Super nice friendly. People always ask if we need anything else. And a really nice, rustic atmosphere. I can only recommend!!

The place claims to be a pub, but in reality it is more of a pub. The service was unfriendly and unprofessional. I felt like I wasn't really welcome as a guest.The prices in the inn were also far too high for what was on offer. The drinks were expensive and the food was mediocre. I definitely expected more for the price.What bothered me most was the fact that the counter is only accessible to a certain village community that has set up a pseudo club to exclude visitors from outside. If you still wanted to enter the room, you were directed to the sign on the door, which stated that the room was only accessible to club members.I think this is very unfriendly behavior towards outside guests and shows that the inn doesn't really care about the well-being of its guests.Overall my visit to the pub was very disappointing and I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a leisurely dinner or a drink. There are definitely better options in the area

If you are ever in the beautiful Ilbeshausen health resort, your first stop should be to Sauwirt. First class management; Local family business. Beer garden, coffee garden, restaurant and there is even a beer cart! Very sociable atmosphere that immediately spills over into positivity towards strangers. Here everyone knows everyone. Good mood.Small prices for good home-style food. Fresh bratwurst with bread for in between and a schnitzel with homemade fried potatoes and egg that will make you smile; are recommended. Excellent hospitality that is very rare these days!

Sauwirt is cult! Best schnitzel in town, top landlord! Always fun to eat and drink beer there. Unfortunately you can't find anything like that anymore today. Full stars!

Shame that the menu was reduced due to covid. Not used to this coming from a City / busier areas. Menu was very limited and quiet due to this. Let’s hope for better times.
