The service was top (5+). The breakfast was very good, with a little new surprise every day. The room we had was nice, bright and spacious. The bathroom was outside and had very good lighting. Tiny drawback: the kitchenette in the description was more of a tea kitchen. So we can give 5 stars 3 times.

The hotel is really great! The friendly staff do their part, the breakfast is very rich and the scrambled eggs are freshly prepared. Our room was very large, we had the 304 (a double room with a balcony. If you could point out anything at all, it might be that the blankets for the bed might be winter blankets, which made it hard to sleep because of the heat. Otherwise I would come here again .

We were able to spend a few days in this beautiful hotel with extremely friendly staff.Extra requests were taken into account without any problems. This meant we could always take our little dachshund with us everywhere, even though he was sometimes whiny, or an extra shower chair was provided.I was particularly happy that on my birthday the table was festively set and my favorite flowers were provided for my husband. We can recommend this small, romantic hotel to everyone and would like to thank the friendly staff once again for unforgettable days. 🤩🐶🤩❣️

A critical viewAt first glance, the Hotel Dünenschloss, located on the picturesque beach street in Karlshagen, offers idyllic accommodation just a few steps from the sandy beach. But a closer look reveals aspects that should warn potential guests to be careful.Location and first impression: The proximity to the beach is an undeniable plus point of this hotel. The colorful rooms and apartments promise a welcoming atmosphere. However, appearances are deceptive when you look at the details.Service and customer focus: Some guests report a decline in customer focus, which was once the hallmark of the hotel. The receptionist in particular seems to be more interested in maximum profit than in guest satisfaction. This could be a deterrent for visitors who value personalized service and hospitality.Rooms and comfort: While the rooms are described as cozy and clean, there are reports of management lapses that can affect the stay. The hotel does not always seem to be prepared, especially for guests with special dietary requirements.Gastronomy: The breakfast is described by some as top, with fresh eggs and homemade salads. But the inconsistency in providing for special dietary requirements, despite prior commitment, raises questions about the kitchen's reliability and attentiveness. Conclusion: The Hotel Dünenschloss could be an option for uncomplicated travelers who value proximity to the beach and simple amenities. However, if you value reliable service and special requirements, you may want to look further.

Absolutely the best and central beach location! We had a very large and clean room with a cozy terrace, but unfortunately there was no toilet paper on the last day.The breakfast was really tasty and the kitchen lady was very nice and friendly. We noticed immediately that she was a woman who did her job with love.If only Karlshagen wasn't so small... that bothered me a bit, as there was no beach promenade with inviting shops to stroll around.
