Very nice staff, if you ignore the owner. The parking facilities are very limited and to take money for it is more than audacious. The location is very good for Wismar and everything can be reached very quickly. The hotel's facilities are a little old, but everything is clean and sufficient. A big plus is the varied breakfast.

A hospitable, pleasant house within walking distance of the city center. The house is very tastefully decorated, especially the breakfast area. Our room was relatively small - but sufficient. The coffee pad machine was great - as were the bathroom facilities. It looked a little shabby in some places, but it was clean. The breakfast is particularly worth mentioning and worthwhile. Lovingly draped, you really have a lot to choose from - often completely different than elsewhere (Grabower Küsschen, salmon, cashew nut butter, etc...) If you're really upset about baked rolls, you can't help it...The pillows took some getting used to (felt like they were inflated) and we also noticed the stairwell, which had already been mentioned, looking worn out. It's the first impression you get...

Beautiful old house with flair. My single room was big enough and had everything I needed. The car is safely parked in the hotel's own parking lot. Breakfast was sufficient. The most important points in the city center are all within walking distance. I would book again.

Stayed for 2 nights at the Hering Days in Wismar. It is only a few minutes walk to the city center and harbor. The car is currently parked in the hotel parking lot. The room was clean and, although facing the street, very quiet. Equipped with a minibar, kettle, coffee machine, tea, coffee and comfortable beds. The bathroom was generously sized. At breakfast in the morning everything was available and tasty. All in all a nice stay.

Cozy, lovingly furnished hotel, in a quiet location, the breakfast room with a first-class breakfast buffet that left nothing to be desired, friendly, charming owner, well-equipped room, refrigerator/stocked minibar, coffee/tea station available for free use, comfortable bed, TV and WiFi available , small but nice bathroom with shower and hairdryer, parking space directly behind the hotel building can be booked for a small parking feeWe would love to come back😊

Great location. Just a few minutes walk to the action.Room great. Each designed a little differently. Kettle with a selection of tea and Senseo in the room.Everything was very clean and lovingly done.Small dining room where a small but delicious breakfast is also offered. 3 star hotelThere are 3 stars from me tooAlthough not quite as well located for public transport; But once you're there, you'll be in the city center, at the harbor, cinema and more in no timeThe price is still okay for the room(extra) Price/performance for breakfast at EUR 10.00 but excellentPlease ask guests more regularly if everything is/was OK. On floor 2 it was not possible to shower in one room, while PROBABLY 1 or 2 others were also taking a shower at the same time. This must be possible!Please reconsider the times for breakfast and check-out.If I can have breakfast until 10 a.m., then I would like to have some time afterwards to go into the room and get my bags in a relaxed manner and not have to drag them down in advance.The last point was also slightly annoying: the cleaning ladies were already standing, bored, leaning against the wall and waiting around 20 minutes to 10 for guests to get their bags and go to the check-out to start cleaning.Please don't show so obviously that nothing needs to be done. That doesn't make a good impression and is stressful, at least for me

So our review only concerns our room.Since it was under the roof and a person was very tall, it was difficult to shower under the slant. The toilet was very narrow, between the shower and the sink. And the single bed was too narrow for him. But as I said, it only affects this room.Otherwise very well located. Since we were exhausted after the long journey, it didn't bother us that our room faced the street. We had a small balcony. Minibar, fan… everything you need. Also a small TV.You can get into the city very quickly on foot.We didn't want breakfast now because we had to move on quickly. So I can't say anything about it. Looked comfortable though.This means that this one star deduction only applies to this room, not to the entire hotel. The owner (presumably) at reception was very friendly and helpful. So everything else is fine. Oh yes and there is parking behind the house (rentable for a few euros)...Conclusion: a hotel where you can stay overnight quickly as a family..

For me it was a quick and good solution. Can be booked at short notice, very well organized because I arrived late. Very flexible, very friendly owners.A good recommendation if you are looking for individual solutions. I liked it.

We were booked in the hotel for 2 nights. The journey was very uncomplicated and could be easily planned via email. The room was very spacious and perfectly equipped by loving hands. Very quiet at night. The breakfast was very tasty and didn't miss anything... And if so, Ms. Elbert would definitely have found a solution. All in all a successful stay. We thank you again for the nice stay.

An older house not far from the city center, which was easy to reach on foot. The co-owner welcomed us. Overall, everything was very friendly and guest-oriented. The rooms were clean and OK with a shower and toilet. The room was quiet, but also facing the inner courtyard. The breakfast was also OK. The request for gluten-free rolls for breakfast was fulfilled. The e-bikes could be parked covered and locked in the inner courtyard.

A hotel that only impresses at second glance, but then really. Absolutely recommended. Very nice owner, dog friendly, great price/performance ratio. To the rear there is a peaceful, beautiful view of the allotment garden. Good mattress, everything very clean.We'll be back!!!
