I spent 4 lovely days in Bayrischzell and was able to fully enjoy the landscape and the small town. The hotel is in a convenient location in town and you can easily reach many things on foot. My room was big enough with a clean bathroom and perfect cleaning every day. The "open" wardrobe, better hanging rod with base frame, took some getting used to, but the rich breakfast and the spacious sauna area are very highlightable!! The staff is very friendly and helpful, the restaurant is also ok. and is also visited by many day guests. I only had dinner once, otherwise the local gastronomy was varied and very appealing! All I can say about the price is that I get the same thing in good hotels in Austria, but with half board (4-course evening menu).

We were lucky enough to spend one night at the Hotel Alpenrose and it was an overall great stay. As soon as we checked in, we were warmly welcomed by the extremely friendly and attentive staff. And surprisingly received a room upgrade.The breakfast was definitely a highlight (besides the staff ;-). A large selection of fresh, homemade dishes, including various delicious dips, creamy Bircher muesli and freshly prepared scrambled eggs or white sausage made to order. A perfect start to the day!We were also very impressed with the all-day restaurant menu. The selection was varied and really left nothing to be desired. Our recommendation: the goulash – simply amazing!The new, modern sauna area invites you to relax there after a long day and enjoy the stylish atmosphere.All in all, staying at Hotel Alpenrose was a great experience thanks to the warm staff, excellent food and wellness facilities. Combined with the unexpected upgrade, the hotel offers incredible value for money. Absolutely recommended!We would love to come back.Thanks to the team and management for everything. “peeps”

A really nice hotel in a good location, all the staff are extremely friendly, very good food and a good selection at breakfast, egg dishes are freshly prepared. The room was very comfortable in a quiet location with a modern bathroom. My dog was also welcomed very kindly by everyone and was allowed to accompany me to both dinner and breakfast ☺️ All in all, really highly recommended 👍🏼 There is also a public charging station for electric cars right opposite

Very nice hotel with excellent service.We used this hotel for an overnight stay during our trip to Croatia. Upon arrival there was live traditional Bavarian music in the restaurant.The owner of the hotel is super nice and very easy to communicate with. Requested an extra cot when booking, which was arranged without any problems. Beautiful area for a nice walk. Breakfast was really great. Hot chocolate was made especially for children, and the selection was also very extensive.

I can only warmly recommend the Alpenrose in Bayerisch Zell! The food was simply fantastic – large portions and everything incredibly tasty. I was particularly impressed by the friendliness of the service, who gave me and my dog a very warm welcome. Even though my dog was wearing a muzzle, I wasn't looked at strangely, but after a short explanation everything was accepted. My dog was even offered water – really dog friendly!The atmosphere in the beer garden is simply beautiful, you immediately feel at home. The young lady who served us was extremely friendly and accommodating, which only made the experience even better. I ate here four times during my vacation and will definitely come back. A place I recommend to anyone who appreciates good food in a relaxed, pleasant atmosphere!

Definitely worth a visit: a house with a lot of charm and history, cleverly brought up to date. We felt very comfortable. A great interior design concept that combines old and new, warm staff, a great terrace and a very nice beer garden. And if something doesn't work, you will receive competent help. We're keeping our fingers crossed that the staff shortage will soon be overcome - although waiting times on vacation are relative ;-)We would come again!
