YES, but there is a small drawback: whatever the weather, you have to go 50 meters further to the second house for breakfast.

Ideal Alpine hotel near Reutte. Very friendly service and super clean. We'll be back! Only the WiFi wasn't very reliable or strong in two of our rooms. This should be worked on.

What a fiasco this was! On the outward journey we had car trouble, which meant we would arrive late at the hotel anyway. The hotel was informed via chat that things would turn out slightly differently than planned. We had to wait three hours for a towing service to take us to the nearest garage to assess the damage to the car. I have kept the hotel constantly informed of developments, but have never received any response. When it eventually turned out that we were no longer going to be able to get the car repaired that day and arrive at the hotel, I immediately let the hotel know. I never received a response to this either!!Due to car trouble, we had to arrange an overnight stay in Germany at the last minute, which was difficult due to the very limited number of options in the area, but we eventually succeeded. I then canceled the Alpenhotel knowing that we would not receive a refund because we canceled too late. But we could not have foreseen this either, a case of force majeure. So I hoped for some understanding and at least some form of refund (for example, we would not have breakfast, so they would not have to incur those costs either).But our request for a refund (or at least part of it) was simply rejected. When I shared my incomprehension about this via the chat, and when it came to money, they were able to respond immediately!The idea of the hotel owner was that we should above all understand the difficult day he had. The fact that we as a family with our young children aged 7 and 8 had to stand on the side of the highway for three hours in the scorching sun and in uncertainty with our young children aged 7 and 8 and had to arrange everything at the last minute was secondary to the "suffering". from him. Downright ridiculous and unprofessional!! Stay away from here.

The hotel is well located and quiet. Rooms are OK. I booked the room via the website. As a solo traveler, I was offered a 25sqm room with a balcony (the last room according to the website), which was also booked. On site I was initially assigned a small, dark double room without a balcony. After asking, I was then moved to a larger, brighter double room with a balcony. That's OK, but I was told that they couldn't give me the large room that was actually booked for the price. The room was OK now, but you should probably check the booking module on the website. I just accepted an offer and didn't put it together myself. It was also interesting that double rooms were still available on site. The in-house food is OK, but a fried potato soup for 8 EUR is pretty steep. This is a beef broth with pancakes, a simple soup. Breakfast is taken in the neighboring Moserhof. But that wasn't a problem and it was good.

Outdated hotel with Alpine 70s flair. As hikers with only one overnight stay, we were probably just tolerated and ignored.Not recommended for Lechweg hikers.
