I've been coming here for 26 years. Just for the food. And sometimes sleep too.But if you really want to eat delicious food. Like Snitzel or Cordenblue. You should be here. Great. Thank you. Auerschmiede.And this is also great place

We stopped there on a short hike in the area. The food was very tasty, the prices were absolutely reasonable and the service was very friendly. The furnishings were very nice, rustic and modern. Gladly again!

Nice, simple, quiet country hotel. Very good dinner and breakfast. Very friendly staff. Large parking lot. We were there with a caravan....Only the TV was poorly positioned to the left of the bed and the mattresses were a bit hard...but highly recommended!

Excellent hotel with very friendly people. Excellent food and breakfast with plenty of choice on the table.Rooms are in good condition but the pillows are very soft. Located right along the highway and ideal for spending the night before traveling from Croatia to the Netherlands.

Great location off the highway and very quiet. Clean rooms, good beds and a great kitchen. The service staff had everything under control and we will use this house again as a stopover

We wanted to have dinner in the beer garden at the Hotel Auerschmiede about two weeks ago, but unfortunately that didn't happen.After we sat for a good 25 - 30 minutes and the waiter didn't even look at us, even though he walked past our table at least 20 times, we left the Auerschmiede without food or drink. The waiter neither said hello nor gave us a card or at least asked if we would like something to drink - nothing - not a word (he was completely overwhelmed by the service). A small sentence from his page such as I'll be there for you in a moment or something similar would have been enough... but ignoring it isn't possible.As we got up and left, he suddenly said goodbye - but we won't be saying that again here. Too bad!

After a quick call to the Landgasthof Auerschmiede, a room was available at very short notice for me as a transient from my summer vacation. I arrived at 9:30 p.m. and was warmly welcomed in the dining room. The kitchen was actually about to close, but delicious warm food was made for me and two other travelers who came after me. I can only warmly recommend the Käsespätzle! Add a wheat beer and the evening was perfect. It was a bit cold in my room, the heating didn't work that well, but the blankets were cozy and warm, so that wasn't a problem anymore.The next morning we had a delicious breakfast and the highlight for me was the homemade meat salad.All in all, just great for an overnight stay, I'll definitely be back!

Very nice hotel with great views. Very good connection to the motorway. The food was also very delicious and good prices. Very nice staff. The breakfast was also great and had a very large selection. The room was also nice and clean. We'd love to come back!

A very nice country inn with clean rooms and very, very friendly staff. We had booked one night for 4 people and stayed in a mini apartment in the house. In one room there was a 1.80 m double bed and a single bed and in the other room there was a 1.80 m double bed. The bedding was very good. The mattress was soft but a bit thin and since there was a slatted base underneath it was very hard. It would be better with a thicker mattress. The food was very good and the prices were okay. Another positive thing to mention is that all windows have fly protection, which means you can sleep at night with the window open without mosquitoes.We'll be happy to come back next year when we're passing through again.
