Absolutely forgiving! After we unfortunately realized that Steinhude had changed negatively towards Schicki-Micki, this guesthouse was down-to-earth, original, cozy, quiet and in a prime location, absolutely the right thing for us. With bathtub and balcony ☆The lady at breakfast was extremely nice.Thanks for the stay ♡

Room number 1 has a great view of the Steinhuder Meer but that's pretty much the only positive thing.Unfortunately, the bathroom wasn't really clean (including small creepy crawlies) and I wouldn't want to use the kettle.Unfortunately, this room in particular urgently needs a thorough renovation.Unfortunately we wouldn't book here again.

The location of the guesthouse is great. The rooms are clean and perfect for a short stay. The nice breakfast fairy brought a good coffee and a smile to your face in the morning. Nothing was missing. Gladly again!

Service: Top and very nice and accommodating, breakfast clear but absolutely sufficient and unbeatably cheap.Unfortunately, when it comes to room service, it's completely messed up!Location: Almost perfect, unfortunately our room (No. 1) was on the street which was really loud. Parking great.Rooms: More than underground! Maybe it was just our room number 1.It smelled extremely like a drain in the bathroom. The door there could only stay open for a maximum of a second, otherwise you had to ventilate it first. When asked, they wanted to take care of it, but nothing happened. I read in the recessions that this problem has existed for a long time and nothing has been done about it. There's also black mold in the bathroom and the exhaust fan doesn't work and is dirty to the point where it doesn't work anymore and hasn't been cleaned for ages.The room itself is unfortunately very old. There was something loose on the bed, here something loose on the toilet paper holder, endless spiders. Windows probably haven't been cleaned for half a year (just my opinion). Spoons, kettle dirty, etc.Pillow impossible to use as such.Too badThis is not what our house would look like after a month without cleaning!Will choose another accommodation soon.

Great location, extremely nice staff, rooms okay and breakfast was small but sufficient for me. Unfortunately I have to make compromises with the room because we couldn't go onto the terrace we had booked.

We stayed at the Atlantis Landpension for four days and were extremely satisfied.The location is fantastic. A few meters from the waterfront and the boat pier. Restaurants for everyone, eel and fish smokehouses and ice cream parlors within easy reach.Our domicile in the guesthouse was a suite with a living room and bedroom, veranda and balcony. The balcony was currently not usable, but given the heat that prevailed during our stay, we would have forgone using it anyway.The bathroom was relatively large with a shower/bathtub, bright and friendly. The beds were good and big enough, the bedroom was spacious. The living room is cozy and equipped with a small refrigerator.We were also very satisfied with the breakfast. Everything was available, from coffee and tea, rolls, sausage, cheese, eggs, fruit, water... and milk. The friendly breakfast fairy always tried to ensure that nothing was missing.We were completely satisfied and would like to come back,We cannot understand the negative reviews at all.

Atlantis, a fairly cheap hotel right in the heart of Steinhude, just a few meters from the Steinhuder Meer. By cheap I mean a price under €100.00 including breakfast and free parking in the high season. Where can you find such a top location today?Location:Everything in Steinhude can be reached on foot from this hotel in just a few minutes, including the harbor, village square, restaurants and promenade.However, there are of course a few compromises to be made.Directly adjacent is an inconspicuous but busy street with a lot of engine noise. There is also a lot of activity from guests and visitors during the day until late in the evening. Adjacent is the park with a children's playground. If you like it a little quieter, you should look for a place outside the center.There are some nice bars and restaurants in the town center where you can always get fresh fish and of course other delicacies. The whole thing is rounded off with small but fine clothing shops and ice cream parlors for refreshments.Room:Double room with double bed, separate mattresses. Small bathroom, only fits one person. Is in need of a little renovation. The room is practically furnished, with enough storage space in the cupboards. Small table with 2 chairs, new laminate flooring. The room can only be more or less darkened with a curtain; there is no shutter.The house is very noisy, dogs are allowed.Breakfast:Small breakfast room (there aren't many rooms in the house), with everything you would like for breakfast. Cheese and sausages, jam, butter, rolls (grain and normal), fruit, yoghurt, orange juice and coffee. The frozen rolls are baked in the oven.Park:Possible directly at the house, but a bit cramped.Staff:Could be a bit friendlier for our standards.But all in all, the stay was ok if you only want to spend 1 or 2 nights in Steinhude.The price-performance ratio is definitely right!

I stayed there for one night with my husband and our baby. The location is a 5/5 and the staff is great too. Very warm and family friendly.However, the guesthouse leaves a lot to be desired. It is very old and nothing has been done there for a long time. Our bathroom smelled very like a toilet. The problem was known, but nothing was done about it. Spiders, silverfish and mold were also visible, as was the fact that only superficial cleaning was done. The accommodation was also very noisy as it is an old building.We are generally very undemanding, but modernization would do the guesthouse a lot of good, including replacing broken or outdated furniture.Unfortunately we would not come back due to the deficiencies.

We stayed in the country guesthouse for 4 nights.Room good - exactly as shown in the picture gallery.The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. Very friendly courteous staff.Great location of the guesthouse - opposite the parkThe Steinhuder Meer with its jetty is within sight and is actually only 100 m away.Free parking on private property.We were definitely not there for the last time.Recommended

Check in using the telephone number provided on the door and the key code was easy. The room on the 1st floor (only accessible via a steep staircase) was spacious and, at first glance, quite clean.The mattress is clearly too soft for me, but of course everyone has a different feeling.A nice little breakfast room with a very nice service staff. The buffet is plentiful and fresh - there should be something for everyone.The location, just a few steps from the beach promenade, is of course really great. Parking spaces are in the courtyard in front of the hotel.Conclusion: I would still book again for 1-2 days as a short stay if I come back to the area. However, for a longer stay I would prefer another accommodation.If we looked more closely, we found cobwebs on the radiator and in corners of the wall, there were black hairs on the sheet (I hope it came from the cleaning staff and not the previous guest - but neither is possible), there were silverfish in the bathroom and the toilet seat was loose - Plus it didn't fit on the toilet bowl. It wouldn't hurt to vacuum/mop in the corners behind the chairs and behind the shelves.Overall, the hotel's best days have been over for a while.

My partner & I stayed at the Atlantis Landpension Steinhude for 4 days.The location is really great, you could hardly be closer to the Steinhuder Meer.The guesthouse is really great, the room was more than enough for both of us, very clean and well equipped.You have your own bathroom with shower and toilet, a TV, WiFi and even a small mini fridge in your room.The breakfast is more than adequately stocked, there is definitely something for everyone in terms of selection.The operator is also there for breakfast in the morning, always friendly and caring for the needs of the guests.We can only recommend this country guesthouse and we would love to come back there...

We were guests in this house over Easter. We were very happy with everything in this guesthouse.This guesthouse is certainly not a 5 star hotel in Dubai, but that should be clear to everyone when you look at the overnight prices. You're also in the countryside, where there are a few ladybugs or even a mosquito. The double room is also large enough for two people.The staff and the two ladies we met there were both really, very friendly to us. I can't say it any other way.The breakfast, which was included, is plentiful and good. Even if this is manageable, nothing is missing. As in another review, I cannot confirm that the rolls or eggs etc. are counted. Just ask nicely and you'll definitely find a solution 😉.Parking is a bit tight in the yard, but definitely doable.The bike rental around the corner is part of the hotel, and you will also be treated very friendly and nice by the employees. A small thank you goes especially to the employee who can also be seen at breakfast in the guesthouse in the morning.You don't need to say anything else about the location. This one is perfect.By the way, dogs are also welcome. However, a few other furry friends also live on the property, namely cats 😊😺All in all, it will definitely not be the last time we have been guests at the Pension Atlantis in Steinhude 😁

Booked a bad double room, got a room with 1 small bed. After 20 minutes on the phone we finally got a room. The toilet runs all night long and the water was breakfast. The arrangement was at 7. The woman came at 7:10 a.mAnd still no breakfast. Never again. Parking is also a problem
