If you want to stay in deluxe surroundings, this is where to do it. Beautiful accommodations, no expense spared with the fixtures and fittings. Very sociable and helpful hosts. Plenty of walks around the lakeside and the garden is pretty and well maintained with lots of areas to relax.

We had a wonderful time in the chalet. Willem is a great host who explained everything about the B&B to us upon arrival. We had fantastic weather and sat on the lakeside terrace until the night. The bed is super comfortable, the facilities with shower, toilet, kitchenette, refrigerator (filled like a minibar with usual prices), seating, dining table and TV are more than complete. After a very restful and quiet night in a super comfortable bed, we had a really delicious breakfast and we had a nice chat with our wonderful host. In short: we felt warmly welcomed like we were with good friends and would be happy to come back to this unique B&B. Thank you very much Willem!!!

We wanted to explore the Netherlands with our small boat and were therefore looking for accommodation that also had space for the boat.Willem was very helpful here and measured his exit especially for this purpose. In addition, he picked out places in advance where we could slip for free.The property itself is located in a beautiful waterfront residential area. When the weather is nice you can enjoy a wine or whiskey on the jetty by the water in the evening - unfortunately we were a bit unlucky with the weather. ;-)We had breakfast on the first and last day. It was very tasty and didn't miss anything.We can highly recommend De Wiekeborg.Gesa and Andre

For us it was mainly a practical overnight stay due to... Superbikes, so we could not use the breakfast service or enjoy the beautiful surroundings, but the chalet was great. Nice and quiet and everything at hand. Also a warm welcome by the host.

This is a unique opportunity to stay in the middle of a quiet Dutch village, walk around, meet the owner and see how a home can be opened up to the world to allow the world bring its experiences in! Really great find! Plus for bikers - you can negotiate to park your bikes under the roof in garage :)

Due to a necessary pass extension, those who ended up in the Wiekeborg. The host welcomed us very warmly. The bath and room were excellent. The breakfast was delicious and extensive. The garden was paradise on the water. We would have liked to stay a little longer, which was not possible due to the investment.Thank you very much Willem & Sheryl.
