At first glance it seems to be a nice hotel, modern breakfast room, nice terrace, friendly staff. Unfortunately, at second glance, that was it. There was an empty soap dispenser on the sink in our bathroom and there was no toilet paper at all. The rooms are very noisy, for example you can hear the shower from the shared bathroom, which was in our hallway. After we were woken up very early on Saturday morning by a conversation between our roommates, strange men suddenly appeared in front of our window at 8:00 a.m. (we had a room on the ground floor), who turned out to be craftsmen. They then carried out facade work with the loud clatter of ladders and paint buckets, so that sleep was no longer an option. Well, Saturday is a working day, but if I know that such work is being carried out, I won't give this room away! Especially not when the hotel is apparently not even fully booked! Then I also wonder how it can be that a friend of ours, who booked her single room with shared bathroom (!) after us, got a better room than us (2nd floor, double bed, private bathroom, quiet) , and then paid significantly less! So all in all it was a very disappointing stay for us...

A beautiful, modern, cozy and consistently clean room. Price performance is absolutely okay here. The breakfast is rich and leaves nothing to be desired. The staff is also extremely friendly and responds to requests.Conclusion: good price-performance ratio, nice rooms, great ambience, I can only recommend it. 👍

The rooms are very nice and clean, as you can see in the pictures. But the beds are hard, the pillows without substance, and that's a shame. It was hot in Berlin when we visited HOLI, and consequently the room was very hot all day. It's a pity that there is no ventilation, because I don't think everyone would be able to sleep when it was so hot, but we could. The first night we had the window open, but the other nights we chose to close it despite the heat, because there was a lot of noise from the street during the night.In addition, there was no room service, even though we posted the sign on the door at ~9:00, and we were back home at 17. We had to go down ourselves and ask for new towels.The staff, on the other hand, were super nice and welcoming, and they get our warmest recommendation. The location is also really good if you want to access the city, reasonably close to Lichtenberg St., where there are restaurants and the S-/U-Bahn. But the hotel itself is in a residential area away from major busy roads (why would you think it was quiet at night). You can park for free on the street in the area.

Our experience with this hotel was subpar. We had booked two single beds, which were queried three times through the booking system via Check 24. Since my companion has a really restless sleep, we have only been booking single beds for years, which is my biggest preference when booking accommodation. And if I'm asked three times, I'll assume it works. When we arrived at the hotel, just before check-in time, we were told that our original room would not be ready in time and that they would give us a free room upgrade. I then asked if there would also be two single beds. But the “friendly” employee denied this and said there were no single beds in our original room category either. I then described to him the booking process at Check24 and the repeated queries about bed selection. But he wasn't interested in that, even when his colleague said that they should probably take another look at it at Check24, he answered her listlessly. Later he said “you are not Check24”, to which I replied that the hotel pays commission fees to Check24 in order to appear there. BTW, many greetings to the owner of the hotel, whose employees simply do not understand that false information on third-party platforms leads to customer dissatisfaction and that you as the owner then pay fees for it.Since there apparently weren't any single beds available there, we had to take the great "upgrade" (€20 price difference). In the wing of the ultimate “upgrade rooms” either the air conditioning failed or there was none. In any case, due to the 30 degrees outside temperature and the many windows there, it was very, very warm and stuffy in both the hallway and the room. In the room itself it looked like we had a refrigerator, but it turned out to be a simple cupboard. There was a larger than average TV and a tray on the table, but we didn't use either. If anyone cares about that, that's certainly great. Everything seemed relatively new. However, the toilet seat was crooked and the windows could use some cleaning. What I liked best was the “upgrade bed”, so I have no idea what level of firmness that was, but I could have slept directly on the floor. And here again: I recommend that the owner let someone who weighs 60-70kg test lie there for 10 minutes. A restful sleep is out of the question. Here you could perhaps invest in a topper. And while you're already standing there, you might as well replace the cushions, they're just a lump. Neither of us slept much at all because of the hard bed. Well, in the hotel itself I asked for a replacement in the form of breakfast due to the lack of single beds, of course that wasn't available. Because we already had the “upgrade room”, which was apparently the only room that was ready in time and we had no choice anyway. But well, there is a great bakery nearby with great breakfast and great customer service.Many greetings also to the female colleague who initially had a good idea when she brought up the issue of checking Check24, but later said I was being insulting because I said “they can’t see through this”. For me, a faulty booking system and a room not being ready on time is “not looking through” and not an insult. As a small hygiene note: I would also not throw away used baby diapers in the trash can at the bar/check-in counter in front of the guests. These belong in the trash in the toilet area, not in the food/drinks area.I'll leave the noise of the jackhammer from 8 a.m. uncommented. Since we couldn't sleep anyway, we left early. According to other reviews, construction has probably been going on there for a long time.

Really recommended!! Clean rooms, pretty courtyard, nice food and drink menu and the best thing: the service! Customer-oriented, friendly and extremely accommodating. We are already looking forward to our next visit with you :)

The hotel is very cozy and nicely decorated. The employees are super friendly and very helpful!We felt very comfortable there and would book a room there again at any time.
