Completely modern, minimalist and very tasteful room, it has what is necessary for an excellent stay, its unbeatable location close to everything and very well connected to many U and B lines, it is also 150 meters from the most emblematic church in Berlin and From the KADeWE, Berlin's high-end department stores, you can even walk around the zoo with its small lakes and walkways, inside you have to enjoy a good meal or a good drink or beer, and your chance is at VIC Totye's shopping center. angel.

My extra large room was great to work from. WiFi was great, as was air conditioning. I would stay again if I was working for a while as the value was compelling for long stays. That being said, the lack of onsite staff and wide open front door made the space feel lacking in security. Unfortunately I would not recommend the hotel to single traveling females. I also definitely would not recommend for any arrivals late at night, as I can’t imagine the stress of finding the place without and signage, and if something goes wrong with check in, you only have the ability to contact via WhatsApp. I’m no hotelier, but is the savings on headcount really worth the significant service degradation? I can’t imagine this will work.

I open this review with admitting I made a mistake - I made the mistake of booking Numa Ku’dam Berlin again.My first stay, first week of July ’24 was ok however I complained about the shower. The issue, water pressure, temperature control and faulty shower head. The room was also quite dark and while I stayed there for 8 days, they came to clean only once.I messaged support a few times asking for another room or at least for someone to look at the shower and fix the shower head. It took a day or two, eventually someone did come replace the shower head but the rest was pathetic (water pressure and temperature control). I got through it with gritty teeth and vowed never again.As I travel to Berlin quite often and for extended periods at a time during the summer, I generally stay in the same hotels, based on the price at the specific time. For my second stay at Numa, their prices compared to the hotels I prefer to stay in, was comparable. So I told myself that I would give them another chance and hope that Id get a different room and the plumbing would be better - WHAT A MISTAKE!What was the issue?
Well as before, terrible water pressure, broken shower nozzle and the water temperature out the taps went from boiling hot to freezing cold (when you turned it in either direction - hot would come out of cold and cold out of hot).I arrived on a Sunday. Monday morning I sent a complaint after I took my first shower (well attempted to). I was told that they would send someone to look at it. When I arrived back at my hotel later that evening, I could tell that no-one had come to fix my issue. I sent a complaint that evening again, and was assured that someone would come on Tuesday.Of course, Tuesday came and went and no-one appeared. Nor Wednesday and not on Thursday.In the meantime, I suffered with a very slow water pressure that meant it took forever for me to rinse the soap off my body and hair and as I had to wait for the water temperature to regulate itself, my shower time was about 25 minutes.
On Thursday I got into the shower and stood 10 minutes while I waited for the temperature to regulate - went from boiling hot to freezing cold for 10 minutes. Eventually out of frustration I got out and went to my gym in the adjacent building to have my shower.Where and why is this ever a solution for a client!!!! To have to go to the gym to shower???? I was offered a 15% discount - pathetic considering I stay for 7 nights.I can complain till I’m blue in the face but nothing changes. The Customer service at least responds and pretends they care and tell me something will be done but of course nothing gets done.Never again will I stay at this Numa. If you don’t care about being showered then stay here.

Having stayed in Numa in other cities I was surprised at how shabby the place felt at times. Even small touches other Numas do like a bottle of water were not present. There is no signage so entrance is confusing. There were hairs on my bed.Good location at least but I cannot recover this place.

Well located on a central avenue in Berlin, very close to the Zoo and several shops. The room was a good size but we found the cleanliness insufficient. We booked a medium-sized room with a balcony but what we didn't know is that the balcony would open onto a kind of ground floor with an overgrown garden from where spiders and other insects entered. A few meters from the balcony there was a bee/wasp hive, which made it difficult to eat peacefully on the balcony. In theory the television was a smart TV, but it only worked as a "smart TV* with the option to share the screen, very uncomfortable. The check in and check out process were comfortable.

Our stay was exceedingly comfortable. The beds were plush and provided a good night’s sleep.The bathroom well spacious, well-furnished, and air-conditioning worked perfectly, making it a cozy retreat after a day out.

I can only warn everyone not to rely on the reviews written here or on booking platforms.The hotel was recently sold, the current service has nothing to do with the previous one. The ratings were simply included.There is no breakfast there.There is no room service, you have to get bed linen and towels from the warehouse and change them yourself.Single-layer toilet paper made from recycled cardboard isn't really pleasant - highway toilets have better ones.Toilet paper holder - out of place, as are toothbrush cups.The sofa was dirty and dirty, after a complaint at least the stain was removed - you still don't want to sit on it.Breakfast options in the area are rather poor, and are usually only available from 10 a.m.There is no contact person in the accommodation - everything is complicated via WhatsApp or email. After a marathon of complaints, the staff on the phone were attentive and friendly - but it was of no use as they couldn't conjure up breakfast either.The location is great - the hotel itself is not recommended.

Unfortunately, it is now a purely self-service hotel... the rooms are only cleaned after 8 days, and you have to get toilet paper and towels yourself from a locker. You cannot book breakfast on site, even though it is stated online!!! Unfortunately, the hotel can no longer be recommended since it was sold. Too bad. The location is great!

Unfortunately I can't say anything good about this hotel group.Shortly before our arrival in Berlin, the hotel we booked was taken over by the Numa Group.Breakfast was no longer offered with the information that we would receive the money we paid for it back.I've been trying to get my money by contacting you for a month now - unfortunately without success. You are always put off and then receive no more feedback.

Stayed here recently on a business trip. Seems there is a new operator and from booking to check in everything is digital. From what I heard on site soon there will be a nice co-working space finished. So centrally located just few minutes from KaDeWe and Kudamm

I think you only pay for the location at Kuh Damm.The reception staff are hourly temporary workers who don't really give you the feeling of being welcomed. Rooms are large but no fridge/minibar available. Balcony is actually only good for smoking as the only thing that awaits you here is a view of the backyard with construction site containers. Breakfast buffet is even worse in terms of variety than in other hotels of this class. Cleanliness of the rooms was average.

Nice little hotel with a view of the KaDeWe. Despite the location, the rooms are very quiet with the windows closed. The bathroom or its door takes some getting used to, as it is a floating sliding door, which does not "seal" due to its design. In other words, you can hear everything in both directions. Nothing bad per se, just unusual. Bed was a nice size and very comfortable. You could cancel housekeeping online at any time for the next day, then the “do not disturb” sign was not necessary. Good selection at breakfast and you get everything until the end, if necessary on request, as the staff makes sure not to have to throw away too much.
