We were greeted very warmly as soon as we entered. Our room was beyond our expectations. The breakfast is very rich and diverse. It is also very delicious. The location is already wonderful. It is located on one of the most beautiful streets in Berlin. You can go anywhere very easily with public transportation. From now on, when I come to Berlin, I will not look for another hotel.

We had booked at the Leonardo Hotel KuDamm because we had planned a visit to the Theater des Westens after the BRC rugby tournament in Jungfernheide. Late in the afternoon I received an email on my cell phone at the sports facility that, although we had booked and checked in online, we could not move into our room and that we would have to go to a hotel on Potsdamer Platz instead. We immediately called the hotel and told the lady on the phone that this wasn't possible because we arrived on the rugby club's bus and that's why we had chosen the hotel close to the theater. The snippy answer was that we could use taxis. When we explained to the lady that we didn't want it, the phone was hung up and our booking was deleted without warning. Luckily we were able to check into another hotel near the theater at extra cost and with the help of 2 super nice police officers. Since I'm over 80 years old, but still quite spry, I have the suspicion that they were sure that they would accept it! This can also be called age discrimination.It is also worth mentioning that the hotel could be booked that night via booking.com. Surprising, since we were evicted from the hotel due to overbooking. However, it now cost far more than when we booked. I think a really good hotel can do without such games. Berlin has other nice hotels with friendly staff.We can now do without the Leonardo.

It was an okay hotel. The rooms did not have AC, but we had the windows open all day, so it wasn't so bad. Make sure you don't have rooms above the smoking area...The breakfast was nice.What was shocking is that my group experienced stealing. One lost her bracelet, they searched through her stuff and found the most expencive thing they could take.. A second one almost lost her airpods, she could not find them after breakfast, and she looked everywhere! In the end she did find them, they were mysteriously hidden under one of the coffee mugs. And quite a few saw that their wardrobe were messy, and it was not done by the guests.The rooms had safes, but we could not make them work, but that still doesn't justify stealing.I have never experienced stealing in hotels, not even in poor countries.So because of this I am extremely disappointed and angry. I will never book a room in this hotel againI really hope the hotel evaluate their staff and react accordingly when guests experience stealing...

The location, the friendliness and the great breakfast buffet are 1 A. Unfortunately, 103 tiles in room were broken and there were fungal spots between the tiles in several places. That's not a 4☆☆☆☆ room quality. There was also a miniature toothbrush cup only upon request.

We only spent one night here after arriving at the airport. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. You have free coffee and water in the room. What more did we want😁

Definitely not a 4 star hotel. There was an transportation exhibition while we were there and the room was over €400 per night. The rooms and the hotel is old and not appealing but decently well kept. We stay on the 2nd floor and the carpet floor creaked when you walk on it. The pillows is the most uncomfortable but the bed is hard enough. Water pressure is good in shower. On the front desk, couple of the young staffs is pleasant enough but not exactly helpful and two of the middle-age lady staffs ( especially the one with glasses) is actually quite rude.Breakfast is ok but boring and only 2 of the 4 hot offering is rotating daily on a weekly cycle.Location is the only good thing as it is close to the train station and some brand name shops.Overall experience is poor and won't recommend nor stay there again!

After you have paid you are repeatedly told that there is a system error and you have to pay again. In addition, two men tried to get into a room where my wife was in. And the reception just didn't do anything after the call. I advise everyone to book a room here. I've experienced a lot of things, but behavior like this is just rip-off and criminal.
