It is the worst hotel I have ever experienced!!! Absolutely NOT recommended!Endlessly dirty. The room smells like cheese feet or something similar! The carpets, whether in the room or in the hallways, are germy and probably covered in vomit stains. It's a shame that a hotel like this still exists and you have to/should pay accommodation taxes for it! Given this situation, I wouldn't be surprised if there were bed bugs or other animals. Never again in this hotel!!

The hotel is located directly on the U2 Bülowstraße with great connections to the city center and many buses. The service at the reception was always friendly. We had a room on the 1st floor (family studio with 5 beds). It smelled very badly in both the stairwell and the hallway. We opened the windows and the public balcony door every time. The carpet in the hallway and room is showing its age and has many unidentifiable stains.Room:The room was large and had 5 beds. Unfortunately there are only 2 sockets next to a bed. The light switch was at the front of the door and could only be switched centrally for all the lights. The TV was on the wall and very small. The bathroom is a maximum of 6 square meters and only has a skylight and window that can be opened. The water pressure in the shower was far too low, especially in the morning. More of a strong drip than a jet. And that on the 1st floor!Since it is a corner room right on a large intersection, it was also very loud at night.Breakfast:Price performance is actually good (€10 adults/€5 children). There is a selection of toppings, canned fruit, drinks and scrambled and hard boiled eggs. Actually really okay. We were only there once and the hard boiled egg obviously smelled spoiled after being peeled. It was disgusting. We kindly informed the staff that there was something wrong with the egg. The lady smelled it, also made a face and threw it away. But then said: the eggs are all fresh. That was it.Too bad!

It was the worst experience I have ever had with a hotel. Room with a musty smell, no air conditioning, bad bed. My key lost contact all the time, corridors smelled like sewage and an elevator that made me feel nauseous just entering. For the price, you can find much better options. Run away from this!

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The location is really great - right next to the Bülowstraße subway station, with lots of places to eat and drink in the area, which was very convenient.Unfortunately, there are some significant deficiencies: As soon as we entered the hotel, we noticed an unpleasant smell that accompanied us throughout our stay. The elevator was out of service, which wasn't a problem for us, but a guest on the fourth floor who wasn't good at climbing stairs was simply told by the staff, "Yeah, that's just the way it is."The cleanliness also left a lot to be desired. The shower curtain was moldy and when we asked to have it replaced we were told, “This is a low budget hotel”. The towels were not changed either, and after repeated requests we were only given floor mats as replacements. Toilet paper? None – despite asking twice. When we asked for extra pillows, we were told to please go to the partner hotel across the street and get some there. Overall customer service was very disappointing and we felt that our concerns were not taken seriously. Instead of a solution, we were discussed and we were literally ridiculed.Even though this is a cheaper hotel, we still expect a certain standard and respectful service. Customer service should definitely be reconsidered and improved to make guests feel welcome.

We stayed here with a tour group for 3 nights. Right from the start we noticed an unpleasant smell in the hallways that was reminiscent of a sewage treatment plant. This smell was present the whole time. The rooms were simple and functionally furnished. Our room faced the inner courtyard. That's why we always had to close the curtains, otherwise everyone could see into the room. Unfortunately there were only blackout curtains, so you always had to turn on the lights. The bed only had a nightstand, which is quite inconvenient. The bathroom wasn't really clean and in need of renovation. The entrance to the shower cubicle was very high and had no grab bar. The breakfast buffet was simple but perfectly fine. The elevator was out of service for 2 days, which was very problematic on the upper floors. All in all, a lot needs to be renewed and improved here.

I understand the 3 self-awarded stars on Booking. If a real inspector had visited this hotel it wouldn't have even received one star. Service is quite cold and reduced. When we arrived, we stood at the empty reception for a quarter of an hour until the receptionist came onto the stage in a relaxed manner with his bag of food from the kebab shop next door. When we found out that the elevators were broken and our room was on the 5th floor, after a short consultation we were given one on the first floor. Well, what can I say, if a hotel in Berlin in mid-2024 is still equipped with carpeting, both in the hallways and in the rooms, you start to ask yourself questions. Hygienic is different. A lot of things in the room itself were shabby and worn. 3 stars are different for me in Germany. In the evening I noticed that the television only worked half-time, the most common programs such as RTL, RTL2, Pro7 etc. were not saved properly, the replacement remote control was not properly trained (on/off only worked on the device itself, and the timer could not be set either .) The next disillusionment came in the morning, there was only lukewarm water. Even though the water heater in the bathroom was turned on fully. Just saved at the wrong end. All in all looks recommended

The location of this hotel is good, everything is close by and the subway is right outside the door and only takes 20 minutes to get to the center. The hotel is completely fine for this price, so you shouldn't have too high expectations, the rooms are simple and nothing special, but as in the other reviews, the smell is sometimes really unpleasant in the hallways (in the room OK, if so you ventilate). We didn't have any problems with the volume and it was quiet during the weekend. The service is okay, a few employees came across as if they just didn't feel like it.The cleanliness in the room, OK, unfortunately the bathroom wasn't that clean. But it was perfectly fine for 2-3 days.

I was very satisfied with this choice. The first quadruple room was large, the beds were comfortable and the room very warm, luckily because I found it a very cold week. Also soundproofed well because you can't hear any noises. It is very convenient because it is in front of the Metro and has supermarkets, bars and places to eat around it.Furthermore, you can leave your luggage if the room is not ready or even on the last day to visit the city I had a very late flight.I recommend it because the quality/price ratio is excellent
