I got an uncleaned room (2016), with an extremely dirty toilet. My socks glued to the floor next to the toilet, due to a sticky floor. The toilet had a lot of thick brown leftovers, on the seat and inside. There were buiscuit leftovers next to the bed. When I told the owner that everything was dirty, it took them over a day to come clean the toilet only. Instead of saying sorry, the owner put the blame on me and asked if I was the one who made the toilet dirty.Next day, I wanted to wash my hair and after a minute the shower water was freezingly cold. It was winter, so I shivered and blow-dried my unwashed hair before telling the owner. The owner called me a liar, and argued “the water can’t be cold, I heard you blow-dry your hair”. At night, you could hear loud noises from all of the other rooms, and the creaking of the stairs, whilst the bed was very saggy. When I left early and sick, I was promised I get money back for the night I didn’t stay “but later”. When I asked for money back per e-mail, they told I didn’t pay my breakfast so I won’t get money back - I paid the breakfast, night I didn’t stay, and even had an invoice for it. I like to use much cheaper hotels and have never seen a place like this.

There were four of us eating there and it felt like everything was just finished products. Everything was very greasy and not really good. We all had stomach pains after eating. There is one star because of the friendliness but definitely zero stars for the food.

The hotel and restaurant staffs were friendly and welcoming. The food was very delicious and affordable. The hotel is right above the restaurant and everything is clean. The decoration inside the restaurant is beautiful as well. I would highly recommend visiting this place.

Rooms very simply furnished. Not accommodation for a holiday, more for craftsmen or a maximum of 1 night. No reception, you have to call and then someone came and opened the door for me from the inside. No possibility for breakfast or a restaurant nearby. I personally wouldn't book again.

Old house in impressively good condition. There is something.Super nice friendly welcome.The rooms are clean and equipped with exactly what you need to stay overnight. The gummy bears on the bed and the kettle, tea and instant coffee show you that you are welcome.All of this for just under €50 is unparalleled in Germany.In the in-house restaurant, which looks very traditional just like the house, there is good, inexpensive food and of course inexpensive drinks.The catering here tries very successfully to balance local and Asian cuisine. And that’s with full-fledged meals under €10.

Since Alt Ebingen was in new hands, we really wanted to go there. The food was very tasty, very simple cuisine, well cooked and, above all, at a fair price. The corn dogs are delicious, something different. The portions aren't huge, but you can, for example, order a schnitzel for 3 euros, which is totally reasonable in terms of price. Service was super nice and accommodating. It's nice to sit inside, the dining room is really comfortable. You sit outside directly on the street, but they made the best of it there. And if you're there at times when there's little traffic, then that shouldn't be a big problem. We can absolutely recommend it!I can't say anything about the rooms, we only ate there. Will definitely come back soon.

Hotel is not a highlight. It's centrally located, but the shower provides warm water in water saving mode, you can hear everyone in the house and the furnishings are nothing at all. Gladly no more 🙂

Great hotel from the outside, a super nice half-timbered house, centrally located - ideal. Unfortunately, the rooms are massively outdated, and all the food smells from the restaurant waft up in the hallway, which was very unpleasant. There was no breakfast and if the staff is peeling shrimps in the middle of the dining room, that doesn't necessarily make you want to eat there, which is why I preferred another restaurant for dinner. If I have to go to Albstadt again for work, unfortunately this will not be my accommodation again. Very unfortunate.

My friends from Switzerland stayed here a couple of weeks ago. When they came to my place for breakfast in the morning, they were very exhausted. It was very cold in the hotel. It was so cold that they didn't sleep all night. The hairdryer worked, but it looked like it had been thrown into a fire.Thank God they only stayed there for one night.
