If a young woman on her racing bike stops and asks if she can urgently use the toilet and is then turned away and sent outside again, then that is an outrageous disrespect towards young women. I would therefore classify this house as the unfriendly one in the entire region. My path will definitely not lead to this house. It's a shame that you can't give minus stars.

Nice hotel, good food, very unfriendly host.Last year we booked the entire hotel for this weekend with a large group of motorcyclists and paid the deposit immediately. The remaining payment was due on May 24th, 24, but we had missed it. Shortly before arrival, I received an email from the host with the following wording: “Unfortunately, we were unable to record receipt of the remaining payment. The rooms are therefore no longer available to you in accordance with our agreement.” The error is clearly on our part, but a short payment reminder by email or telephone would have been more than appropriate, especially since the deposit was made immediately. After a phone call on my part, I immediately arranged for the remaining payment. When I discussed his approach with him on site, he said "we were lucky that the rooms hadn't been booked elsewhere immediately, so we should be happy with that." The host certainly would have been if we had had our deposit on top .The bar was closed shortly after 10 p.m., and when my friend asked for a cocktail shortly before closing time, the question arose as to whether he was serious...His wife's food was really excellent, the rooms are clean and ok so far (although from a craftsmanship perspective you shouldn't look at the silicone joints and tiling etc.). The wellness area is also recommended. But guys, if you really want to have fun and a sociable evening (without anyone ringing in the last round at around 10 p.m.), we can't recommend this accommodation, we know much better ones in the beautiful Sauerland.

Hotel tidy, sauna area great! We were there with a larger group, had all the rooms, had a great breakfast and also ate well in the evening. Unfortunately, the operator was sometimes very unfriendly and the bar and sauna area were supposed to be closed at 10 p.m.!2 other guests who wanted to eat were told it would take at least 2 hours until they got food, so they left!

We stayed at the hotel for a week.We were completely satisfied with everything. The room was very tastefully decorated and equipped with all amenities. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. You could also have a very good dinner in the restaurant.A highlight is the wonderful sauna garden that we used one afternoon/evening (sauna, whirlpool, swimming pool, lawn, lounge, seating area for eating). We can definitely recommend the hotel.

Great beer garden on the bike tour, plenty of beer and schnitzel selection. Exactly what we need after the climb. And the May punch is really delicious.
