I felt very comfortable here. The rooms are lovingly and creatively furnished. You have everything you need. The breakfast is delicious and worth it. The hoteliers are very friendly and the price is absolutely fair.

Great place, great owners and especially great rooms!Went there for the second time and were thrilled. I can't understand negative reviews. You can get a great room with a good view and amenities for less than €80. It is completely normal that the rooms are a little narrower. Instead of complaining that dogs cost €10, be happy that you are allowed to come! It costs the same everywhere else. We were able to spontaneously stay another night and they were extremely friendly to us. The rooms are clean and modernly designed. Free television and internet. Can't complain.Will always come back.Best regardsLeah

Cosy and welcoming apartment which had everything we needed and made a lovely place to relax after a long day out. We booked very last minute and the hosts were more than happy to accommodate us and made special arrangements for our baby too. Very friendly hosts who always met us with a smile, would gladly stay here again.

A very disappointing and stressful experience!After the booking was made, it had to be canceled due to discrepancies. Unfortunately, the operators do not automatically refund the booking amount paid in advance. Only after asking does someone from the reservation site contact you and write to you in poor German (wording and spelling) that you should leave them alone. When I asked again about a refund, I was now answered in English that there was probably an error in the system and therefore no refund would be possible. One message receives multiple replies from two different people, both of whom are very impulsive, disrespectful, colloquial and incompetent. Although I used the polite form “you” from the first contact, the rental staff are of the opinion that I should be on a first-name basis. Ultimately, outrageous communication!In addition, the reservation page is quite confusing. The week starts on Sunday and ends on Monday, so it's easy to click on the wrong day when booking.Some of the messages sent via the booking portal are deleted by the employees. However, the messages are not only sent in the portal but also via email. This makes the communication process unstructured and confusing. Last but not least, you are threatened that a lawyer will be called in to report you for alleged harassment (because I want the full booking amount refunded). The reservation page states that the full amount will be refunded. However, this is not adhered to.Ultimately, I can only advise against booking something there.

I spent a wonderful 5 days here visiting my daughter. I received an extremely warm welcome at the hotel and had the feeling of being a welcome guest throughout my entire stay! The room was equipped with all the necessary things, the bed was comfortable and, above all, clean. No wish remained unfulfilled! Breakfast was a real treat every morning and was always served a little differently, which I liked. It was always prepared with love and you could taste it! A special highlight for me was that it was absolutely no problem that my daughter could have breakfast with us. The hosts are such warm people who are happy to chat and always tried to make my stay even more pleasant than it already was. I can only recommend this hotel. The location is not only really beautiful on the lake, but also super practical for getting to Cologne or other cities easily by train, for example. The Hotel Seeblick will also be my first choice on my next visit! Many thanks to the hosts for this wonderful stay. I would love to give this more than 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Reply to your feedback.I mentioned that I have big dogs and paid the money, but you don't even pay that much for a dog in a 4* hotel, but I'll leave that alone. I have no business lying, unfortunately you have to look reality in the eye and realize that I'm not the only one who brings up unpleasant things with my review. The one on the floor is my dogs' blanket, but it doesn't add anything to the wall color. We have visited many, many hotel rooms, holiday homes, etc. and have always given honest feedback, including here.I give my personal impression here.I have seen many, many hotel rooms and I am basically a very simple person, but I would still like to share my impressions honestly.You can travel with a dog and its size doesn't matter. 20€ for a dog is a lot.There are parking spaces at the hotel, if they are free you can use them, but for an extra €10.The lady at reception was very friendly and made an effort.Those were my personal “2 stars”.The rest is absolutely expandable!I don't have a problem with smoking, but if the entrance has a note of nicotine combined with a bar feeling, I feel less comfortable.We actually didn't even want to take a shower because the bathroom was very questionable. Preparing food in the small kitchen, no, because hygiene is something different for me. The dishwashing sponge alone has almost certainly been lying there for far longer than is appropriate.The design of the room walls reminded me a bit of the underpass in the train station and has absolutely nothing to do with feeling good, childhood dream or not, with a hotel you serve customers who should feel good and not your childhood.The view from the bedroom was, well, a view of a wooden hut with bulky waste that needed to be disposed of.Somaro, we won't be coming anymore because my husband has actually considered sleeping with his shoes on if things have to happen quickly.

We were there with a group of 8, each with their own room. We were able to store the motorcycles neatly in one of the garages. The owner was really great! Very helpful after one of us was unable to continue driving with his broken motorcycle. The breakfast was very well prepared and super tasty. We will definitely come back!

First of all: the location of the hotel is great and as promised.However, it wasn't my room. It was small, dark and all in all seemed very uncomfortable. The pictures you find online suggest otherwise.I used to stay in youth hostels that had nicer rooms. Sounds harsh, but unfortunately it is true.The lady at the reception was very friendly and the view was nice too.

I stayed at the hotel between 5-11 October 2023. The friendly owner and his wife rush to make you feel comfortable as if you were at home. I was very pleased. It is a great hotel with its location, access to everywhere by train, lake and view. I would like to thank the owners and wish them success.

HelloWhen we arrived we were greeted unfriendly and had to pay for the room straight away.The room was unacceptable.The refrigerator was right under the desk so you couldn't use the table.The roller shutters were made of wood, which would be fine if you could operate them as soon as you rolled them up Manuel, that was it.The roller shutters get stuck and can no longer be operated or only with effort.The mattresses are so soft that you can feel the slatted frame.The TV is the size of a small laptop.After they didn't dispose of my garbage after 2 days, I asked the housekeeper when she planned to clean my room or change my towels, then she crossed her arms and said they have to pay for that 🤦🏻♂️.35€And they also want €10 for parking.We paid €67.50 for the roomSo and finally,The bathroom was so small and narrow that I had to open the door when I went to the toilet so as not to hit my knees against the door, and when I showered I could only dry myself outside the shower. Service very rude upon arrival Pay directly for unreasonable rooms, a deep hole in the shower as a drain with ventilation grille only covered and risk of injury on floor tiles. After requesting room cleaning, we received the facility and had to pay an extra 35 euros.

The entrance area looks like an untidy hobby room.We were also suspicious that instead of being greeted warmly, we had to pay for the rooms straight away. The owner was in a bad mood and started arguing quite quickly. Given the situation, we could have overlooked it. But the rooms were catastrophic. Selling two single couch beds as double rooms is not okay. The room was cluttered and smelled musty. Not recommended at all.And if you still have doubts about the owners being rude, you can read their response to my review.We were simply dissatisfied, the host was rude and your answer won't change that. I'm just warning others who value cleanliness and hospitality :)

Very nice contact with the owners. The hotel leaves nothing to be desired. The shower was a bit small. The breakfast was very tasty 😋. I would love to vacation there again at any time.

Good value for money, very nice owners and a good breakfast. We think that with a few minor interventions you can greatly improve our room (no. 9). The shower was aimed at the wall, but I think this problem was solved in 2 minutes with a screwdriver (enough water came out). The room could also use new pillows. The pillows we had had been washed (very often) so they became a bit lumpy. Apart from these little things, we really enjoyed it!
