In itself it is what it promises. We had a room in the new building. These were pretty small. But that was also known beforehand. The room was very clean. The only thing that was a bit annoying was the noisy bathroom. You could actually hear the flatulence from the adjacent room. The employees were all very friendly.

Great room, very good location, there is still little potential when it comes to organizing breakfast.

Horrifying things at horrendous prices!Mini room (< 8 m2) without seating, without storage space and without space for a small suitcase.Small, self-built bed without a slatted frame with a wafer-thin mattress on a plywood board. Musty smell. stains. Clairvoyant. You can't even turn around in the tiny mini toilet/shower area (approx. 1 m2). The toilet paper roll actually hangs at face level because there is no room for it next to the throne. No towel rack. The lamp in the bathroom is a desk lamp from the 80s with bright red/blue/yellow spotlights. Tiles broken, joints missing, grooves dirty. No warm water. The highlight is the glass door through which you can see - and smell - everything. There is a rough tone at the reception. The owner shows abnormalities in linguistic and non-verbal communication with guests and insists on stereotypical behavior patterns - in a condescending and lecturing one-sided command tone - such as advance payment at check-in, the provision of a Lidl hairdryer only against further advance payment in this regard, the extra charge for each Coffees at breakfast - which had already been paid for - and the prospect of a possible invoice only being presented at check-out.

Old building in downtown Fulda. Lots of stairs and fire doors. Mostly very small rooms, larger rooms for an additional charge. Hotel guests catastrophic! Reception not particularly friendly. Breakfast good. Prices raised. The next time we visit Fulda we would choose a different hotel.

A nice hotel with friendly staff. The room was great. Large, bright, clean and nicely decorated. The highlight was the bathroom with a bathtub and rain showers. The bed was comfortable and had a great selection of pillows. The breakfast buffet was rich, sustainable and fresh. I found the 3 variants of eggs, with vegetables, with bacon and natural, great. It is a medium distance to the train station and there are some inclines to be overcome, the city center can be reached quickly on foot, there are plenty of shopping opportunities and a variety of restaurants nearby.

Cell and military command!Calling this place a hotel is already dubious. Each prison cell is larger and more comfortable. In the room (size about 6 square meters) there was a bed that you couldn't even walk past and, in fact, nothing else! In addition, no window, no daylight, no ventilation, no air conditioning and therefore over 30 degrees day and night! No slats: you're actually lying on a sheet of plywood! The wet cell (size less than 1 square meter) is smaller than an airplane toilet and is only separated from the rest of the cell by a frosted glass pane. The different cells are also only separated from each other by plywood panels, so that you can hear your neighbor's every word around the clock. I can't imagine that something like that is even allowed; The trade inspection office would have to carry out a timely inspection here.At breakfast, every drink costs extra - which is not disclosed when booking. The owner observes what is happening in the breakfast room, which is located in the basement and also has no daylight or windows, through a peephole and immediately demands additional charges for the drinks. When we said that breakfast had already been booked and paid for, she immediately became aggressive and threatened to call the police if the drinks were not paid for immediately.A “parking space” was also booked and already paid for. On site, however, it turned out that it was not possible to drive through the barn door and at the same time make a 90 degree turn in a small middle class car due to space constraints in order to reach the parking ramp, which did not inspire confidence. Since we couldn't use the "parking lot" we asked for a refund. The owner became aggressive again and threatened to call the police again. I agreed and wanted to take a chance, also because of the extra drinks. When she realized that I was serious, she put us out on the street and immediately banned us from entering the house!

Rooms small, no air conditioning and way too warm. You can barely turn around in the bathroom.

We had booked the cheapest category. For this price, the rooms in this location are adequate. We only found the receptionist to be borderline worthy. It is inexplicable to us how someone can be so friendly and so passive aggressive at the same time. “You booked the cheapest and smallest category…,” with particular emphasis on the adjectives.Basically we are satisfied, although the “single room” was larger than our “double room”.
