Great hotel in a quiet neighbourhood. A short walk from the river and an even shorter walk to the nearest tram stop. ||Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. ||The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. ||The en-suite was clean and modern. Good shower. ||Would certainly consider staying here again next time I am in Cologne.

Very tiny room and with a lot of negative parts to read below, for this price it's complete rip offAbsolutely disgusting cleaning service. They did not cleaned the floor AT ALL on the first day of our stay, did not changed toilet paper, and also maybe the sheets as I found my hair under the pillow… and after I told them about it - they cleaned it but left dirty place behind the door…also when we get back - our room was remained open and light was turned on in the bathroomDisposable hygienic packs (with some cotton pads / cotton swabs) - never bring us others, so only one pack per stay? No other disposable items alsoNo phone in the room, very hard to contact receptionNo ACNo fridgeShower drained (all floor is getting wet)An automatic water tap that is activated by any little movement (and there is a sticker above the sink about saving water) - just why? This is extremely inconvenient and makes no sense, we are not in a public toilet. The safe inside the room is cut off and out of use! Cut with metal cutter, completely destroyed, I leave it without comments. At the end of our stay - right in time, the elevator was broken, and when we asked if someone can help us with a very heavy luggages - they said “no sorry there is nothing we can can do, it’s just us here”Our stay is extremely overpriced for all the stuff we met, and I travel a lot, never saw something like that in my lifeAlso, no breakfast was included in this high price, of course they offer you to pay on top for it 20€, another rip offThe only one positive note I can leave is that location 15 min by feet from the convention and train station

A nice hotel for a short city break. Very nicely situated for U-bahn trains to get u into the main city attractions. The rooms are fairly spacious. Internet can be a bit low at certain times in the evening.

I was extremely disappointed when I walked in the room and it was by far the smallest room and beds I've seen in Germany. The carpet was covered in crumbs, the under the sink area dirty and also when booking for 2 adults and 2 kids they give 2 separate bedrooms meaning if you have small children they will NOT fit in the room or if you want to sleep next to your spouse only one small person will fit in the bed, especially not in the XS beds, I asked if they had bigger beds and he said no. The only good thing was the receptionist was nice and polite.

There were a few tiny little things that we will get to after the big thing, that by themselves would have been a non-issue but collectively took it down to a four star. Which is fine, a four star out of five review is still a good experience.Things changed when I got to my room tonight and noticed what appears to be a scheiße stain on the new duvet from housekeeping. The stain was in an immediately noticeable part of the duvet; the housekeeper almost certainly directly touched the stain with their hand because it is near the fold crease. And of course due to the staffing issues, it’s not like I can just call down to the front desk and ask for a new duvet - there is literally no staff in the hotel right now.Now for the non-fecal stuff. The little things aforementioned that were supposed to add up to a four star review are as follows: there were no tissues available, which is fine, but I don’t go on holiday to do something I already do at home (blow my nose into toilet paper); the bathroom exhaust does not work which will create a long term mold problem in the bathroom; the shower doors themselves have maybe 3cm gaps in the middle and along the floor, and this allows so much water to escape the shower basin and onto the floor that I no longer use the overhead spigot; aforementioned staffing issues means nobody on site after 18:00, which to be honest isn’t really a problem so long as there’s no foreign feces on your bed; the motion-activated sink is a nice thought, but due to the time calibration and high water pressure it is almost certainly using more water for things such as brushing teeth and shaving than I would be using with standard knobs. The good things: the hotel itself couldn’t be in a more optimal location in my opinion, just five minute’s walk to multiple train stations which will have you at the Kölnerdom or Neumarkt/Heumarkt/Alter Markt fifteen minutes after leaving your room; the staff are friendly when present; the neighborhood is quiet and beautiful while again being just across the river from the beautiful madness; able to accommodate late arrival although not necessary for me.Unfortunately, these good things are not enough to surmount the multiple little things and one absolutely critical big thing which have forced me to leave this review.

Very good located hotel with nice clean rooms. Comes with a personal locker for your belongings. I booked this room on a very hot day. Know that these rooms come without air conditioning. This will make being in the room unbearable at certain times. This hotel is located very close to the lanxess arena for possible events you will be attending. With the electrical scooters everywhere you see yourself within 10 mins in the main city of köln.The staff were very nice to help me out. Make sure you know some german words because the staff that were there wasnt very well in english. But with some hand gestures we managed. All in all a very nice hotel located in a quiet neighbourhood.

This hotel feels, looks as a typical German Tagunghotel. With all the basics you need, clean proper rooms. No luxury. Breakfast is what you expect, no thrills.||Parking options at the rear, limited spaces available but free.||The restaurants, bars, supermarket, ATM are within a 5 minute walk. For one or two nights it is fine.

This is a good middle budget hotel. Good points: local to Cologne Centre. Nice breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Not so good points. No net curtains so was overlooked by local residents unless curtains are pulled. …

Hotel was great location to the Arena to watch Madonna. Had a large terrace and water pressure was adequate. Will stay here again if it required no longer than 2 nights. Basic hotel that will not disappoint...but it's basic. …
