Avoid this hotel as much as you canWe stayed at the hotel from Sept 16 to Sept 23 in a hotel room booked on Booking.com as "Apartment for 3 persons", but the place we were given was only meant for 2 and the room matched the pictures of the "Apartment for 1 person" on their website. We tried discussing the matter, but we were sent to the hotel Novum Eleazar where the reception could not speak English at all. We tried to contact the hotel using the different emails on their website but they never replied to us. We finally raised the matter with Booking.com but the reply was that the hotel refused to discuss the matter or be any helpful. Not only the room we were given was the wrong one, but it was also very poor in quality. The buzzer for the door was broken, and the bed quality could be very poor depending on which bed you had. The place was very hot at night despite being end of September.Beyond not helpful on the room matter, the service was completely lacking on many aspects, and while we could book a parking slot at the hotel (15 euro per day), the reception would hand us the keys of the garage and tell us to find how to open it ourselves. The location itself is convenient, near the main train station, but the place is full of people on drugs and alcohol, with them usng the hotel main door as a squat through all the nightThe experience was a disaster and the hotel did nothing to help us with the booking issue. I would not recommend at all

To start with, the rooms were big but dated with no AC and not much service or any breakfast provided. They also only provide one key so you have to communicate very well and do not leave it in the room if you are the only person. Also the kitchen was not very well equipped so you will have to bring or buy your own things for cooking. The area after dark felt pretty dodgy so stay in a group or you will be shouted at or hit. (My friend experienced this sadly)There is alot of noise all night long from the trains, drunk people outside, police and construction workers in the morning.Although its only 1 train ride away from the CCH, I would not recommend staying here despite its price. You get what you pay for.

The place itself is ok. It's a bit worn out but clean. Breakfast is not worth the price. |It's close to the central station and transport in general which is nice. …

The good thing was the location and price (for Hamburg Hbf). The not so good thing was the location (loads of “dodgy geezers” and homeless folk exchanging little packages). You have to check-in at the main hotel around the corner, which is fine, although you have to weave through the “smokers” sitting on the front steps. Receptionist didn’t give the password for the WiFi and had to go back to reception to ask. To then be told that there is no password (when there clearly is!), making you wait 20 minutes while a colleague is called to find out what it is, and to be told again that there is no password is very frustrating. Luckily, I bumped into some other guests who kindly shared the password (that they had been given at check-in!)Room 1D was stuffy (no air conditioning or fan) and smelly (kitchen extractor hoods directly outside the window). Felt a little uneasy about the apparent lack of fire exit. But the room was quiet and the bedding was clean, tea & coffee making facilities in the room, communal kitchenette at the end of the corridor.

The apartment was good . Clean . The access to the apartment was a nightmare. Per instructions received from booking.com we had to collect the keys from Novum Hotel Eleazar City Centre . However this is incorrect. …

The rooms are simple and ok.For an apart hotel the small kitchen is not prepared for cooking.Over all it would be totally fine for that small price, but the the service is extremely terrible.Impossible to get an valid invoice for accounting (business trip). Emails are ignored. Phone number is from another Hotel "Novum Hotel" and they reject contact. But you have to get your key there ... very strange.I will avoid both hotels in the future.

Elevator still doesn’t work if anyone is wondering. We liked the place itself. Apartment was pretty basic but clean. Nothing much about the place itself to say or complain about. The location is another story. …
