Inconsequential cake, no waffles on Saturday afternoon (despite advertising for it). We don't have to go there again.

Very nice location with good, tasty food.Unfortunately, the service wasn't that good even though the restaurant wasn't full. Longer waiting times when ordering drinks and ultimately when paying will result in the 5th star being deducted.

It could have been very nice...Great location in a tranquil place. A beautifully situated terrace on a small lake. The staff was very nice, but…The staff seemed overwhelmed, even though not all the tables were occupied. The neighboring table waited over 30 minutes for coffee and cake, so we were lucky to have 20 minutes left, even if we were then told that the fresh mint tea was unfortunately out. The latte macchiato I ordered came promptly and tasted good. The frozen cake (from Coppenrath & Wiese!) was tasty, but completely overpriced at €4.90 per piece. We later discovered the “Torten Service Tollkühn” directly opposite, which would be an opportunity for cooperation! It's a shame, you can really do a lot more with this restaurant. Dear owners, see this as constructive criticism.

I arrived there on a rest day, so I can't fully evaluate the service (sorry)... I had a really nicely decorated, very large and clean room. The location, although on a street, is fantastic... partly in the countryside with a large terrace and a lake in front, it was pleasantly quiet both day and night. Parking spaces are plentiful and the breakfast offering is appropriate for the price-performance ratio. I travel a lot and far, but this is a location I would like to visit again.

The food was very good and worth the price (schnitzel). There was also an absolutely sufficient portion. The crème brûlée for dessert is amazing. The ambience would like to be upscale, which wasn't my cup of tea. Here the interaction can be relaxed. However, the terrace by the lake is very cozy.

Guys, guys, I read through the 5 star reviews. I don't know where you were and what you were promised by the innkeeper. The location of the shop is very nice but very far away from the crowds in the middle of a village. The furnishings in the rooms are in the 70s, but not on purpose, but outdated and shabby, from the carpet, to the mattress and everything else. The only place where something was picked up is in the restaurant but unfortunately appearances are deceiving. You also have to be well-heeled, look like you have money and be of a more dignified age, then the boss will serve you personally and normal guests will be ignored or processed quickly and asked to leave quickly without saying a word. In the form that the ashtray is taken away from them on the terrace after dinner and there is no more service. That's a shame because you can't tell what the account balance is based on the external appearance. The service was very nice and good, but that's what the boss said.As I said, if the right innkeeper were there, it would definitely be nice, but you can only say from the outside that it looks romantic, but unfortunately you can save yourself the trouble of going in.Sorry but what is true must remain true.
