Very nice little hotel in a lovingly restored half-timbered house. Very nice service and very good breakfast. There are cafes and restaurants in town. The parking lot is one minute from the hotel.

Absolutely recommendable small family-run hotel. Super-equipped, cozy, very clean rooms in two superbly restored half-timbered Bergisch houses.Ms. Seidel welcomes you with a warmth that is unfortunately no longer common everywhere these days.This warmth continues seamlessly in the lovingly put together breakfast.Conclusion of the weekend in the Burgstiege:Absolutely recommended and in need of repeating👍

Two very beautiful, newly renovated 🔨 and modernly renovated half-timbered houses with a lot of love 🫶 for detail. Our arrival was greeted warmly and friendly. We were able to really enjoy the family and friendly atmosphere. From there the cable car to the castle 🏰 is just a 2-minute walk away. An ideal start for hiking 🥾 e.g. B. along the Wupper, Sengbachtalsperre or Müngstener Brückenpark are easy to reach. However, the rooms on the first floor can be reached via a slightly steeper staircase. But if you're looking forward to hiking, it shouldn't be a problem.The breakfast was very rich 🍽️ and it was served at the table.Couple 50+April 2024

The cleanliness of the entire facility, from the lobby to our rooms, was impeccable. Each piece of furniture felt thoughtfully chosen, combining aesthetic and functional aspects to create the perfect temporary home. The atmosphere was indescribably calming and inviting, which added a whole new dimension to our stay!The absolute highlight, however, was the breakfast room. Decorated with an eye for style and elegance, we immediately felt at home. We lingered over our morning coffee, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and considered extending our stay just to enjoy this space a little longer. The breakfast itself was an absolute delight and lived up to the high quality standards that the hotel sets.In short, this lovely little hotel stole our hearts. Beautiful little hotel. Clean, lovingly furnished rooms and an indescribably great atmosphere. The house simply has a magical charm. The same goes for the breakfast room...you don't want to leave anymore :-)I would also like to mention the employees and the owner, warm, lovely, friendly people! Gladly again at any time. The next stay is already being planned!

We had a family room and it was just great. The rooms were clean and very comfortably furnished. The beds were great. There is even a communal kitchen, with tea and coffee available for free use. The staff was also very accommodating and really friendly. We can also only recommend the breakfast. We would be happy to come back.
