Selling a leg press, 10 weights of 0.5kg - 5kg and 1 foam roller in the cupboard as (a fitness room, equipped with the latest equipment as well as an equipped aerobics and fitness corner) according to the homepage is tough.Room was very small, 1 mattress felt 0.5 meters lower because it was already worn out.I don't know if that has anything to do with 4 stars.

Our stay at the Heidelberger Hof from October 18th. Unfortunately, until October 21, 2024, everything was anything but satisfactory. We would have expected much more from a 4-star hotel.Cleanliness: The condition of the carpet in the room was really unacceptable - stains and sticky floor. Plus there are cobwebs on the ceiling. This has nothing to do with the standard that one expects from this star category.Room size: The pictures on the website give a completely wrong impression. The room was significantly smaller than expected – a clear case of misdirection.Mattress: Totally saggy and uncomfortable, which made the nights a challenge. There was hardly any thought of relaxation here.Personnel: The organization left a lot to be desired. Neither the parking space nor the sauna reservation worked without problems, we had to constantly ask.Breakfast: Breakfast was below average for a 4 star hotel. We have experienced significantly better buffets in cheaper hotels.Noise: The rooms are very noisy, so you can hear any noise from the hallway. The front door was particularly annoying as it slammed loudly every time.Condition of the rooms: The general condition was disappointing - open drill holes and missing socket covers in the bathroom, which also poses a safety risk.What is particularly irritating is that you are blinded by numerous videos and articles on the Internet that portray the hotel as modern and great. But if you research when these videos were made, you quickly realize that a lot of things don't add up.Another negative point: Unfortunately, the hotel manager's reaction to our complaint only consisted of justifications instead of constructively looking for solutions. We were even written that we could move out at any time if we were dissatisfied. That sounds more like bad luck or good luck to us - you either get a renovated room or you don't. Supposedly everything was rebuilt five years ago, as it says in various articles. However, reality does not reflect this.Conclusion: The hotel definitely does not meet the expectations that you should have of a 4-star hotel. Unfortunately we cannot make a recommendation.

However, that doesn't match the condition of the rooms.Unfortunately we cannot recommend this hotel at all.

The location is very good, within walking distance of "everything" yet one block off any street with traffic or bars so it was quite.The bottom floor with reception and breakfast area was very nice (and the breakfast was brilliant). -the room was not as four star, it was small, felt a bit dated and there was as smell of sewage in the bathroom.Parking just around the corner was included in our booking.

A lovely little hotel in the city center. The room was clean and well equipped, and also had air conditioning. Breakfast was small but had everything you need. If you don’t want to stay in the old town this is a good option, right in the shopping district.

Very nice, small hotel in a central location. Staff is extremely friendly and service-oriented. Rooms are clean and bright. Breakfast was also great. So everything worked out to my complete satisfaction and I would be happy to come back

The hotel is really conveniently located on the edge of the old town, close to the western part of town. However, you can still hear music from the area late in the evening. It is absolutely not recommended for people who are sensitive to noise, but for another reason: I was woken up every night by a really loud humming noise that came from inside the hotel, kind of like there was an old refrigerator running next to the bed.In terms of hygiene, our room was okay, and the breakfast was pretty standard. It was nice that there were a few vegan alternatives (for sausage, cheese and yoghurt). The coffee was good, the tea was great. The staff was for the most part extremely friendly.

Very nice hotel on the edge of the old town. Good parking options. Breakfast is OK.The rooms are good, the showers need updating. The staff is really very nice and polite.In terms of price it is at the limit.I would recommend the hotel immediately.

We booked a comfort room and in my opinion only had a standard room if at all. The bathtub was also a shower with a very high entry and exit, everything was very small and narrow. The hand basin was next to the TV and not in the bathroom where it normally belongs. The bed mattresses were totally worn out. We had a lot of back pain in the morning. So there can be no talk of comfort here. Oh, almost forgot. The underground car park is not at the hotel, about 150m away. So please don't be fooled by the beautiful pictures on the website. Supposedly 4 star hotel!?? Personally, I'm deducting 3 stars. Heidelberger Hof never again...SorryPS: Breakfast buffet was good at least something positive.
