Multiple corrections required when making reservations. Staff not sufficiently trained. Bar staff consumed coke or similar when preparing the drinks. Rooms are getting old. Bathroom not mold-free. Bathroom fittings had defects. Strong smell of urine in the hallways. Jacuzzi broken. Massage offer - there was no contact person for. Food ok.

Excellent hotel, the room was very spacious, plus the free morning breakfast buffet is very good. Walking distance to near by good restaurants. Another plus free parking which is not always the case in a big city. We definitely recommend this hotel. Wish we were staying longer

It was very noisy because of the refrigerator in the hotel hallway that was right next to our room wall. The manager didn't respond to our mention of it. Unfortunately!

Unfortunately I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. As soon as I arrived I noticed the unfriendly reception at the reception. The employees seemed annoyed and unhelpful.The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The carpet was stained and the bedding didn't seem fresh.Unfortunately, my stay was a disaster, especially because of the lack of cleanliness in the room. As someone with a dust allergy, I was hoping for a clean room, but was sorely disappointed.As soon as I entered the room I noticed the dust on the furniture, on the floor and even on the curtains. I tried to ignore it, but after a short time I began to experience severe allergic reactions: sneezing, watery eyes and difficulty breathing. It was clear that the room had not been thoroughly cleaned in a while.I absolutely cannot recommend this hotel for people with allergies or a general requirement for cleanliness. It is disappointing that such basic hygiene aspects are not taken into account.

The whirlpool has probably been out of use for years, even though I selected the hotel based on it thanks to the app filter. There was no response to my complaint whatsoever. Unfortunately the price isn't right for me. The breakfast staff were friendly and helpful.

Stayed at the City Hotel for a few days with my physically handicapped son. The room was very nice and the bathroom was wheelchair accessible. The staff is super friendly and additional pillows were provided for storage upon request. The breakfast was great and many thanks to the friendly service. My son misses the milk coffee. đ„°

Very friendly staff, our room was large, four days' worth of clothes fit in the closet. Bathroom a large shower. However, when it came to the washbasin, attention was only paid to the appearance and not to the functionality. In my opinion, this should have been a size smaller and with a plug. A hairdryer is available, as well as washing and shower gel and sewing kits. I booked a room away from the street, which is why it was quieter at night. Unfortunately, we didn't visit the fitness and wellness area because the sports equipment we needed didn't fit in my car. The hotel is located near the center.

Unfortunately I had to use this hotel again for work after a long time because everything else was full. The staff is more than rude and unprofessional, you can tell that the mostly unskilled people work there. The room furnishings date from the beginning of 2020 with stains on the floors.

The hotel is dirty! I am a frequent traveler and have stayed in hundreds of hotels. Two of them have really disgusted me in the last ten years. The City Fortuna Hotel in Reutlingen is one of the two. I don't have excessive expectations of a hotel, but cleanliness is a basic requirement. Here you can see the dirt in every corner you look into. The inside of the elevator is smeared and sticky, as is the stairwell. You can see dirt everywhere in the window frame, on the door handle, etc. The renovated rooms are fine, but the old ones have some ancient, scuffed and sometimes dirty furniture (enlarge the picture of the chair and pay attention to the cracks).There are vending machines in the hallways next to the rooms. If someone takes out a drink at 2:00 a.m., it's a huge blow. The rooms on the top floor are hot in summer, and the rooms facing the busy street are noisy.Particularly unpleasant: After an official event, I sometimes quickly put on other shoes and take off my jacket in the disabled toilet before the long journey back, as these are usually very spacious and also very clean. Here even the disabled toilet is dirty/sticky, filled with cleaning carts and smells so strongly of chemicals that you don't want to go in there. The poor disabled people who are forced to use it.The hotel only gets two stars because some of the staff are very nice and understanding. I can't understand at all how a hotel can be allowed to deteriorate and become so dirty.

The service staff was extremely friendly. Reception was fine. I think advertising free parking spaces is a bit exaggerated when there are only a few free parking spaces and otherwise a garage that costs âŹ12 (!) per day. Under the bed was not cleaned but otherwise the rooms were averagely clean.
