We had a wonderful week at the campsite, if you are looking for peace and relaxing days, this is the right place for you.We were there with our dogs and the place was perfect for hiking and cycling. You are in the middle of nature, we will definitely come back!

We were passing through here with our motorhome. Everyone here was very nice and everything was very clean. Yes, the sanitary facilities are getting old, but they are clean. In any case, we felt very comfortable.

Reception not occupied, I paid online after the overnight stay, chose the parking space myself as the booking confirmation only came after departure. We stood with the bus under trees not far from the toilet, deer and squirrels in the morning 🐿️, nice and rustic for children. Sanitary functional... ate in Brinkhausen and had breakfast with me...

An extraordinary, special campsite where hospitality should be written in capital letters, for both people and animals. The water and the wide view of it are beautiful. A real campsite for birds of paradise.

Unfortunately I had to cancel my reservation, I haven't received any money back until today. I've been there for almost a month. Emails and calls are ignored. It's a shame... I'll never book there again.

Beautiful campsite, in an incredibly beautiful location, some will find it too messy, but this is part of the charm of the campsite. Was a wonderful stay!

We stayed in one of the two hikers' huts for two nights. Great place, super cozy hut, beautiful view, nice employees, nice offers (horse riding, pedal boating) and everyone is absolutely relaxed! That really put us in the right holiday mood! The shore of the lake was also easy to reach with a small lawn for sunbathing! The only thing to complain about is the cleanliness of some of the toilets. But there were also very clean ones, sometimes you just had to look a little ;)! Oh and if you like sleeping on soft mattresses, you might want to bring a sleeping pad. The mattresses are certainly terribly healthy for the back, but also very, very hard xD.

Messy campsite with very crooked places. Price entirely based on the beautiful location, otherwise too high. You even pay public holiday surcharge on the Thursday before Pentecost. Sanitary facilities were cleaned once a day (+ toilet paper hung up) and that is not enough when fully occupied on a Pentecost weekend. When booking, you pay in advance and will then receive a pitch number by email. It turns out that this is necessary given the tight opening hours of reception (and then still encountering a 'closed' sign): in 5 days I never saw any employees at the campsite, except in the shop. It has enough sandwiches, even if you haven't ordered. Children up to and including puberty age play 'old-fashioned' (meaning positively!!) with each other outside, including on a large football field.

We were there again and it was beautiful again, like 6 years ago. Everyone was super friendly. The animals are well looked after and the children can learn what the animals are allowed to eat. We are thinking about renting a permanent camp site. Would always recommend it for children.

Actually a very nice campsite with nice, friendly operators. Super nice location, you could really do something with it here. However, that is exactly the crux of the matter, the “could”. There's a lot of frippery going on, a fashion show, a flea market, donkeys and horses are kept, geese, peacocks, etc. It's all actually nice, but it costs a lot of work that can be saved elsewhere. For example, when mowing the lawn or maintaining the sanitary facilities. There is already some cleaning going on here, but the last time it was renovated was approximately 30 years ago.The biggest drawback, however, is the unreachable reception. It seems that someone is only available here sporadically, and sometimes not at all by phone. Bookings only via the technically outdated website, no consultation possible. The result is double occupancy of places. The poor booking policy means that the place is not even half full during the summer holidays, i.e. the absolute peak season. If the operators want it that way, then good. I would do it differently myself. And for many guests, the lack of accessibility leads to frustration. We were here before 25 years ago, it was different operators. There was also something to buy in the little shop and there were people who looked after the guests. Just like at a normal campsite. I recommend that the operators take a vacation on large, professionally managed courses. And just see how things go there. Worlds open up...

You won't find such a bad campsite anywhere.The power boxes have open wires (!!!).The sanitary facilities don't work at all, they're super dirty. You should also keep in mind that access to the plots can only be reached with an off-road caravan, as a 2-axle Fendt caravan almost bottoms out due to the deep lanes. The pitches are unmowed. The lounge is run down. What is particularly bad is the animal husbandry, the geese are in a stable that is far too small, if you can call it a stable. The rabbit is kept individually in a stable that is also too small, as are the chickens. The place has so many deficiencies that you should report it to the ADAC or Camping Club.We were really looking forward to the campsite, but we are really shocked at the condition. Unfortunately you have to give a star 🌟 otherwise it won't be boosted

In itself a nice, simple and natural place. Unfortunately, the majority of the area is very sloping/anything but flat and would actually have to be terraced so that you can sleep in a tent without rolling down the slope. It also only has one shower block with three showers each, which is definitely not enough for the size of the space. There are also few toilets and, depending on the space, they are very far away. The showers and toilets were also pretty dirty when we were there. Showers and hot water for washing dishes cost extra. It should actually be quiet from 10 p.m. However, it was quite loud in the square until well after 11 p.m. (very loud conversations, music, etc.). The reception also has very short opening hours.
