The hotel looks old-fashioned from the outside (former health department), but the interior renovation has been successful. The rooms are modern and functionally furnished. The bed was good and very comfortable. I would also like to particularly praise the fact that the TV set-up offers streaming directly via your own devices, because this is not the norm and is thought to be progressive. Not everyone needs it, but we were very happy about it.We were on a short trip (3 nights) in Dortmund and it was perfect for that. Especially because of the location on the edge of the city center/pedestrian zone and within walking distance of the train station.We didn't book breakfast, but even then you can get a free coffee in the morning (and it was really tasty).The young hotel team was very friendly and helpful. We'd be happy to go back to Dortmund if we ever end up in Dortmund again.

Location near center. The rooms are functionally furnished. Unfortunately a bit noisy. The automatic door to the main hallway can be clearly heard in the room. The “Self-Check In” is a bit complex for first-time visitors. Unfortunately, after 4 weeks, I'm still waiting for my hotel invoice that I requested from the staff to claim my expenses. This can be done better.

The hotel is centrally located. The rooms are appropriately furnished. The beds are comfortable and the shower is large. The rooms are clean. It doesn't have its own underground car park, but there is one nearby. The breakfast buffet is not recommended for the money. I felt sorry for the breakfast staff as there were only two of them (sickness absence). They couldn't keep up with clearing tables and refilling food. They always tried to give their full effort.

The hotel room is clean and has a large shower. However, the breakfast buffet is the worst I have experienced in the hotel industry, you have to sit at dirty tables and have to push the plates from the previous one aside. No rolls, bad scrambled eggs and totally overwhelmed employees. You personally can't blame them if they have to operate everything with two people. There is a need for action here and the money is better spent elsewhere.

10 minutes walking distance from the main train station, not many nice restaurants or bars around .. though opera house is just in front ..feels like an old hospital/ admin building turned into a hotel, rooms spread over 7 floors .. rooms …

The young woman at reception was perfect.She was just amazing.Took our food because we had to leave again.She ran up to the 6th floor with us because the card didn't open the intermediate door.Unfortunately, the elevator was no longer operational for a short time.The beds were great.The bathroom is large, the view is great over the roofs.Thank you very much

Unfortunately not recommended at all! The lady at the reception was completely overwhelmed and was also extremely unfriendly. Everyone had to wait a long time at reception until they could check in. The entire process was slow and the staff seemed unprofessional. I definitely expected more for the price. Very disappointing!

Very good location. Simple breakfast, but it is important that there is a coffee machine. There is a restaurant with a terrace on the 7th floor. It is worth investing in cordless kettles for the rooms and a glass.

Best thing about staying here is the location. Very central and within walking distance to most of the tourist attractions and restaurants. Rooms are basic and very small, without even cups for brushing teeth.

Very kind Service in the reception but installation are unconfortable and rooms are much more unconfortable. Need to improve in the rooms condition.Break fast is a 7/10, only reason to choose the Hotel is because they got a good front desk service and a good location.

Good location. Taxis are easy to find. The front desk is helpful. There is no room service during my stay.No iron box, no complimentary indoor flops. No water bottles, and the room is a little compact. The AC heater turns on and off.. I was sweating during my sleep.Other than that, the location is excellent.

Former office, simple but not really clean and functional.Rooms very noisy. Unfortunately, the windows are drafty and it is cold in the room, especially since the air conditioning only works slowly. In summer, however, it is almost unbearable. Very small desk, actually it's a board.Location near the city center, parking situation not ideal, relatively long walk to public parking garages, but the employees park in front of the hotel.Slightly slow service at check-in, friendliness very dependent on the service person.Service at breakfast was disastrous.
