The hotel's restaurant, the Shamrock Pub, is very cozy in Irish style.Occasionally with live music.Highly recommended restaurant thanks to the super friendly service.

Super cozy hotel with very good hosts where we will definitely come back.Breakfast prepared with love, coffee, egg, bacon and great rolls, nothing was missing👍🏼👍🏼 The sauna and the whirlpool were also great and a round of billiards for balance and fun. What was also nice was the guinness evenings in the pub.The kitty Samy was also great and dogs are also welcome. As I said, we are already looking forward to the next time.

The hotel is very centrally located on the Esen market square. Unfortunately, the rooms are correspondingly expensive and yet in poor condition. The bed was very well put together. The curtains are probably leftovers from other rooms that were thrown together. A basic cleaning would also have improved comfort. The service is very nice. At breakfast we would have liked something fresh, e.g. B. In the shape of a tomato or cucumber. The fruit was thawed mixed berries, very extensive sausages, much of it in small plastic packages. There is a smoking bar on the ground floor, which you can also smell in the hotel area. Too bad!

A small hotel in the middle of Esens on the market. The hotel is a cost-effective base for travelers traveling by train, bike or car. There is a reasonable breakfast buffet with enough choice so that every taste can be satisfied.Scrambled and fried eggs can be freshly prepared upon request. It is also possible to use the barbecue pavilion, the barrel sauna, the whirlpool, a billiard table and of course a dart board at no additional cost. The leisure facilities are also relatively young and can therefore be described as contemporary in terms of both function and design. The double room that I had booked for myself and my son was relatively old in terms of furnishings, apart from the largest (smart) TV I have ever had in a hotel. However, everything was completely functional and cleaned properly.Only the small seating area/terrace in front of the room could have been cleared of some of the leaves that the linden tree had already lost before my visit. The pub attached to the hotel is very cozy and I only have good things to say about the staff here.In Northern Germany, the people who work there in the hotel and the pub could be described as warm and open. And the price was unbeatable anyway.90 per night for 2 people, booked in the middle of the high season and then three days before departure...Anyone who has had different experiences there like in the other reviews or had a different perception of the whole thing will probably not have stayed in a simple Dutch 4-star hotel. My conclusion is therefore,Just the right thing for travelers who are looking for a bit of peace and relaxation in the evening after a busy day, regardless of whether they are cycling holidaymakers, beach goers, photo hunters or many other holiday groups. If you want to travel on a budget and can do without marble in the bathroom and a modern box spring bed, this is the place for you.I will definitely come back.

The accommodation is comfortable, the rooms are spacious, clean and lovingly furnished. The breakfast, which we had in the rustic setting of the Irish pub, was excellent (best scrambled eggs with bacon 💚); the owners are friendly; the beds are really comfortable AND there is a cat and free WiFi.

Cheap accommodation, we only needed to stay overnight but it was really OK. The room was old, older but clean, good beds which was very important to us. The breakfast was really good, fresh, etc. without any complaints. The price was also OK for two nights. I would happily go back again!!!

A very quiet hotel with friendly staff. Unfortunately, no renovation has been carried out in recent years. Frayed towels and crumbly sheets are not an option. The Italian restaurant has also lost quality. Finding leftover food from the night before at breakfast that has fallen onto the floor is an absolute 'no go'. Unfortunately no longer recommended.
