Room in the basement, but not bad. Sufficiently large. Basement terrace. Incredibly warm, so much so that you could hardly sleep. Toilet basically built into the sink. You have to snake your way around the sink and then you sit there. The sink in front of you, the towel rails press into your kidneys on the left and you are completely restricted on the right side because there is some kind of holding rail there. It wasn't great, but it didn't matter for 2 nights. What was also stupid was that some sockets in the room had no power and the cell phone was empty in the morning. What's not possible is that the cleaning lady is rumbling around at 7:00 because the utility rooms were right next to it. Has nothing to do with relaxation. I don't get up that early at home. Breakfast was very good, except that I find it a no-go that dogs are brought into the breakfast room.Location was good, pleasantly quiet and everything was neat and clean.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms we had were always very good and as described. The hotel is divided into two houses. The beds were a bit uncomfortable for us (too soft). The textile-free wellness area is manageable and offers almost everything you need. A Finnish sauna, a (defective) steam sauna and a pool with counter-current system. Baths are also offered. The showers could be on a little longer and the rain showers in particular could use a little more flow.Perfect when the weather is not so good or after a trip.Parking spaces are at the house. The breakfast is really very good. In addition to the "normal" ones (sausage, cheese, fish, scrambled eggs), there is delicious honey straight from the honeycomb and, at the end, a freshly baked waffle, which is made with a professional waffle iron (at that time there was a household waffle iron there). Delicious coffee is available and if you want something different, you can use the fully automatic machine. We regularly had a coffee there after our excursions and drank it in peace in the beach chair. The fully automatic machine is available free of charge until 6 p.m.We would love to come back...This time an activity plan from Carolinensiel was sent out in advance. Thank you for that.

Here you have to arrive and feel good. The entire staff is super friendly and there is a great atmosphere in the small, pretty hotel. The wellness area with steam bath (which was out of service for us), sauna and swimming pool with counter-current system is also very well maintained and invites you to relax. For breakfast there was everything your heart could desire and it was always freshly replenished. During the day there was a free fully automatic coffee machine from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., which is not a given. You could help yourself from a separate refrigerator and simply write down everything, billing at the end. This was also excellent. The hotel is for children aged 14 and over. The location is great. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back. Traveling for business where others go on vacation works very well here too. Thanks for the great stay. Keep it up.

I would like to give this hotel - and especially the staff - even more stars if it were possible. A lot of small, positive details are taken into account here, so that an absolutely harmonious overall picture and pure satisfaction are left behind. We were (unfortunately only) here for 3 nights to end our North Sea vacation with the option of wellness. It started very positively when we were greeted warmly by Mike and he explained everything to us in detail. He also gave us tips on where we could get our fill as vegetarians, as that is rather difficult in this small town.We really liked the room. We really felt like we were in a small, stylish bunk with all the amenities you could imagine (including a personal welcome card). The only thing we didn't like were the pillows, as they were too big and firm, but that was manageable. The wellness area is not oversized, but was mostly empty during our time, which is why we were almost always able to relax alone and find our place. We particularly liked the pleasantly heated pool. At first we thought that he was quite small. But if you switch on the countercurrent system, it balances everything out, as you can swim just as well as if you were in a large pool. Really fantastic. At breakfast we were thrilled by some of the unusual ideas and the fact that there was little packaging waste. The very committed Frank on site even made it possible for us to have vegan options (see picture). We were very touched and excited by this, as we don't automatically expect such service. The rest of the service staff were always friendly and tried to ensure that all guests were well. We felt very comfortable. Even if we don't necessarily have to see Carolinsiel again, we would come back just for this hotel. It is 100% recommended.

Had two nights in the dune runner in mid-August. Very cozy and lovingly furnished hotel. Very friendly and courteous service. Rooms very nice. The bathroom was a bit small. We had a wonderfully large balcony (almost a roof terrace). Delicious breakfast buffet. Beautiful indoor and outdoor relaxation areas. Good location of the hotel (on the outskirts, but still a 5-minute walk from the historic harbor). Perfectly located if you want to move between Harlesiel and Carolinensiel on foot. We liked it very much. We'll be back.

Nice hotel with large rooms and a rich breakfast selection. Unfortunately, the room under the roof was difficult to ventilate because there were a lot of mosquitoes and you couldn't open a passage. …
