Loved the experience. Close enough yet 15 min walk to the station.
The staff is super friendly and made the stay really enjoyable for a three generation family stay. Breakfast is good and the place is comfortable and cosy.

Very very good place to stay!!!! The best in Amsterdam. The place is cozy, the owners treat you very well and very very friendly. Here we had breakfast included and they also leave you open to have coffee, tea or chocolate at no extra charge (in the communal area and/or breakfast room).One of the guys speaks Spanish quite well (in case you have trouble with English), and the rooms are also comfortable and the bathtub produces hot water instantly. I'll come back here when I get back.100% recommended!!

The location and staff were very good, it first made me think because it was a boat, but you don't feel like you are on a boat at all. This is already a very common form of hotel and accommodation around Amsterdam. Especially the hotel owner Daniel is a very good manager and provides quality service.

The host is very friendly and attentive, he gave us recommendations, a map of the city and we were not able to have breakfast on time but we told him that we would leave earlier and he left everything ready for us to take with us the next day.They have amenities that save you from buying a coffee downtown at high prices, fully included in the stay.Very grateful to the team, it undoubtedly increased our experience in Amsterdam.

Very nice experience staying on a barge, the location is ideal, the interior is very pretty, the cabins are simple but functional, private shower room, we were able to park our bikes on the barge at night. The breakfasts were delicious and varied. And then THE best part is the welcome, the advice, the good humor of Dany. We recommend and will come back.

I stayed one night in a triple cabin with two old school friends. A party of three [all aged 65ish], in the city to see Blues-Rock Royalty ZZ TOP play at AFAS live ARENA.The Hotel Boat Angeline was a perfect base for us. Handy walking distance for Oosterdok's amenities, the railway station, the city centre, bars, shops and attractions. It was also about 20mins by UBER from AFAS Arena.Angeline was quirky as accommodation goes. It features hardwood fittings and panelling with marine brass fittings, giving this old boat a quality ambience and stylish appeal. The saloons, deck, and breakfast room on the upper level are great chill out zones, where we enjoyed the varied continental breakfast & salad garnish, with Pastries, cereals, and fresh fruits teas and coffees in the morning. There was also a DIY snack bar in the reception saloon with complimentary hot drinks and some nibbles plus other cold drinks and an honesty box [in lieu of a waiter].The cabin was clean and neat. It was basic, but a reasonable size, secure, equipped with all we needed, and had a solid, very comfortable bunk bed and a separate single bed. It also had air-con [although we didn't need it]. The boat's captain was extremely friendly and helpful and joined us for a beer as we three had a jam on their 'house' guitar and on instruments we brought with us. Other guests were an interesting mix of young travellers, cyclists, couples of all ages, friends, and family groups. We couldn't have chosen a better hotel for our needs at this price. A perfect ambience!!

Great hotel. Very good location, everything clean, wonderful breakfast. Very nice, helpful and funny employees. We were also able to get into the room before the official check-in.Of course the rooms were small, but you expect that on a houseboat and that's how it should be. It's kind of exciting too. Nevertheless, there were large drawers under the beds, each of which could fit 1-2 hand luggage suitcases, a small cupboard and another shelf. More than we have experienced in other star hotels.Absolutely recommended!

This was an amazing experience! Everything was great! It had everything - private bathroom, air conditioning, hair dryer, breakfast included, games, etc. The breakfast was great! The boat was clean and well kept. I loved the coffee/tea bar where I could make myself tea or coffee day or night. The Captain was extremely friendly and went out of his way to make sure all guests were happy and had what they needed. It was in a peaceful area but a short walk to shops, restaurants, etc. If we are ever able to go back to Amsterdam, we will definitely stay here again.

A unique style of lodging, most appropriate for Amsterdam. What better way to visit the city than to sleep on the water. This is, after all, the way many permanent residents of Amsterdam live..on boats on the water. The staff here are as friendly and helpful as one could ask for. Coffee and treats available all day. Breakfast provided, and luggage assistance from the front desk staff. Beds are comfortable and long enough that I, at 6’3”, sleep fully stretched out and relaxed, with room to spare.

Not too far from the central station, maybe a 20min walk, and very easy to find. Staff were extremely hospitable. Breakfast was amazing with fresh fruits and vegetables among other things and a variety of drinks, which were all replenished frequently.The rooms were small but cozy and warm, especially the beds. We were right below the lobby/seating area and it would get a bit loud from time to time from the chairs being dragged across the floor, but seeing as it is a boat it was slightly expected.Would stay here again if I ever come back!

Fantastic place for a sleepover. Nicely situated in a calm area. Very well handled by three awesome lads. Very helpful, great customer service. Neat, tidy and clean. The wooden surfaces are shiny. The rooms are small but cosy. The beds are good, the duvets warm. Each cabin has extra blankets for cold times. Breakfast is great, with pain au chocolat, freshly maid pancakes, different sorts of bread, plates with cheese and cold cuts (even chorizo), fruits and boiled, fried or scrambled eggs and 4 diff fruit juices. In the lovely entrance/parlour there is always a choice of coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and sweets for free. Plus beer, wine and beverages from the fridge to pay at a small price. Good location, next to the Nemo Scientific Museum and close to a big car park (multi-storey). A bike rental nearby (good prices) and some nice restaurants and cafés. Only 10min away from the Central station (by bike) and 20min from „De Jordaan“ with even more cafés, bars and restaurants and lots of fab stores. Loved it. We‘ll come back! Thanks Boris, Dylan and Daniel… P.S. The boat itself is not soundproofed ☺️

My experience staying at Hotelboat Angeline was excellent! The service was divine and the location couldn't have been better. From my experience, everything was easy and the staff was helpful. Also the breakfast was very good and fresh. Even though it didn't bother me, the rooms are quite small so I would recommend this accommodation if you're staying for one night or a few. Overall, very good quality for what you pay and I would stay there again.
