Good price, good accommodation.Possibility to prepare hot drinks at any time.The breakfast buffet is very abundant, with various savory and sweet alternatives.Very suggestive to stay in bed while it pours outside, since the bedrooms are below the water level.

The great thing about staying on a barge boat here is that you're close to the train station and city centre, but not so close that you hear all the noise. It's quiet and peaceful, but don't expect lazy lie-ins because when staff and guests get up in the morning, you'll definitely hear it in your bedroom.You have to enjoy staying on a barge boat to stay here. If you need lots of space and comfort, it may not be the right choice for you because the rooms are small and cramped, which is to be expected, it's not a luxury yacht. Personally I don't mind at all, I sort of enjoy it.Everything works as expected. There's wifi, an 'honesty bar' (write down what you take and pay at checkout'), a little lounge area to chill with your friends, breakfast buffet. Our host Adwin was welcoming.

Boat was in wrong location, half an hour walk more from the city. Would not refund booking. Very unprofessional and hostile staff. Especially the man with dreadlocks telling us to leave and find our own space. âŚ

Cute as an idea, but certainly not suitable for those who go to Amsterdam for several days. The rooms are tiny and only allow movement for one person. The distance from Amsterdam Central Station is not at all 10 minutes on foot, but 35 counted. It is not located near famous streets and the staff does not make themselves available to customers or accept constructive criticism. Very disappointing

Price and quality wise it is a nice place to lay your head in after long walks in Amsterdam. Hotelboat is located near the town centre in the docs. Staff is very friendly and talkative, gave some suggestions on what to visit and also we're collaborative when asked about other questions about the city and culture. Side note: the cabins are quite small, so would not recommend for people with a fear of small places. Nevertheless, would definitely come back.

Great people, great atmosphere. The rooms are clean, the staff is very nice.You shouldn't expect luxury or comfort, but it is extraordinary to spend the night on such an old boat.The breakfast is enough, but sometimes there is not enough space and you have to wait until someone is ready to eat.

Nothing to say! Atypical experience on a barge in a superb setting. The location is great (10 minutes walk from the center) and the rooms and shared bathrooms are very clean. All-you-can-eat breakfast is included, all for a more than affordable price!The managers are great, accommodating and friendly! Also perfect for meeting people :)We can only recommend!!

Cozy boat and very well located, but a lot of noise from fellow visitors... you can hear everything really loudly (doors closing, when someone showers, walking around, talking, etc.) so I strongly advise you to bring âŚ

most horrible hotel I've ever been to. I was expecting to have noise and to have hot rooms but nothing prepared me to this.It was dirty, the common showers and toilets were not cleaned.At night it was extremely noisy, even with earplugs. We asked twice the responsible man to change our room (I think the position of our room didn't help) but he didn't want to help us or to try to find a solution.Finally it smelled smoke in the rooms, even though it's forbidden to smoke inside, and again nothing was done to correct that. We quit the hotel around 2 am and found another one.If you want to do a lot of things and biking in Amsterdam and have a rest and night, don't go there! It's a horrible place!
