Great experience, partly thanks to the roommates, the first two days of 4 that I stayed there was a group of rude English girls who were annoying by arriving drunk late at night, turning on the light, talking loudly and closing the door. careless door. Of course something foreign to the hostel, where they treated us very well and the cleanliness was very good

Good thing is near by Red Light District, no more. Room is very narrow, you will feel more terrible when your bed is above level, hanger was not tightened carefully and when the night come, the creak sound always move out when you move your body. They even did not provide towel, shampoo or bodysoap. And the worst thing, when you sleep, the noise from outside will wake you up and less oxygen for your threat. Toilet hygiene is also bad.Conclusion, I will never go back that place again.

I was supposed to spend the night in their hostel but you simply couldn't sleep in their beds, it felt like they were falling apart and when I went down to complain they couldn't do anything and they wouldn't do anything we got reject "pack your shit and leave"So bad experience from here, we couldn't get money back or anything, so it can't be recommended

Staff really friendly and close to the central station! I met a lot of nice people the room, specially a lot of French! Just recommend you to take your own padlock and flip flops to take a shower, during the day the shower is nice and clean but morning and nights it’s a little bit dirty.

The location is very good, just next to the red light district. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. It's a good place to stay for one night, but if you're thinking of staying in mixed rooms for a long time, think again…

The male staff are very thieves and rude and on September 20, especially at night, they are in the wrong place, I had to take the police to get my luggage back and by the way I had already paid the night before with a credit card and I also paid in cash. Honestly, in the 6 stops we visited during our interrail, this was without a doubt the worst hostel we stayed in: a room for 8 that was claustrophobic to say the least - we didn't even have the space to open the drawers under our bed as it the distance between the beds was non-existent - dirty, mainly frequented by middle-aged men, with no common spaces other than hallways, a table and four chairs between one room and another. After the first evening we wanted to escape, but following our complaints the receptionist convinced us to stay by changing rooms, but we ended up in another 8-person dormitory - slightly more spacious -, and during the night we were woken up by a man who claimed that what I was sleeping on was his bed, starting to slam everything he found in front of him onto the iron chest of drawers (despite the presence of the receptionist he called) waking up the whole dormitory (and in the end he was wrong as his bed was another). If you are a girl I strongly advise against it as it is frequented by ambiguous people. On the other hand, the location is very central (two minutes from the station and a few meters from Piazza Dam) but nevertheless it is located in one of the most tourist/commercial and therefore chaotic streets in all of Amsterdam (to be clear, it is not a nice and quiet area like perhaps any other neighborhood such as jordaan). Overall, a bad experience.

Good hostel, central, clean, comfortable. The only thing I could mention is that the stairs are very narrow and there is no elevator, so it is impossible to take a suitcase up or down there, and also that the common spaces could be improved a little so that they are more useful to use, in addition to Put a bigger refrigerator. But after that, 10/10. The guy Oscar at the reception was super friendly!

Pros: good location and few streets over from the red light district, surrounded by shops, 10 minute walk from Amsterdam Centraal, good coupons in lobby for activities around the city, receptionists are transparent and honest which is nice for a touristy spot!Cons: no A/C, rooms are hot and humid, minimal kitchen facilities (only a microwave, mini fridge, small table, and vending machines), showers are very claustrophobic and have no ventilation, cleanliness of bathrooms and common areas was not the best, no curtains on beds. Also, not the hostel’s fault but the guys in my room were very smelly and rude, playing music very loud ALL day and talking on the phone during the night.Overall would not stay here again but it was alright!
