We had seen reviews about the hotel being dated. The hallways maybe could do with a little revamp but other than that we couldn't have been happier with the hotel. Great location for a short break. The pool and wellness centre is a really nice extra to have in the hotel. room very comfortable with a lovely bathroom. Very pleased.

A very disappointing experience. We stayed here on our honeymoon and were surprised to be in the basement. We were woken every morning at 6am by the staff yelling in the corridor. It was so noisy we couldn’t sleep. We did ask to move but were told they had no better rooms. We were given drink vouchers for the staff yelling outside our room and when we went to the bar we could only order soft drinks with the vouchers. For a five star hotel they really need to pick up their game.Positives: location is very good, rooms are large and the showers are hot and powerful.Negatives: rooms are very dark and have thin walls. The staff were more interested in socialising than addressing concerns. (We asked 4 times for them to clear out some half eaten food in the mini bar fridge). Breakfast service was non existent. Staff were polite but not overly helpful. We’d been really looking forward to this hotel as our travel agent was a huge fan. Sadly we would not recommend.Edit. Whilst we did request a late checkout we were advised this would be complimentary. However upon leaving we were asked to pay for the privilege. It took more discussions and reminders that this was meant to be complimentary. The team at reception obviously had not been informed.

This is the WORST 5star hotel than I ever.I would like to share why I realized the “WORST” 5-star hotel as below.1.There is BEDBUG in the room.I had same experience at $20 guesthouse in 20 yrs before.2 charged pre-requested was automatically provided/uncharged pre-request was NOT.Before check-in, I asked about the face cream and lotion and the persons(by e-mail).The hotel answered “yes we have the products” but not provided in the room.Besides, just in case I let the hotel the number of kids from 1 to two(because it was not chosen the numbers via mobile.)Then hotel answered “the extra bed can be provided 75€ per night ”. In spite of not ordering it, the hotel charged the extra bed automatically.3. the key card was gone during the cleaning.Second day, after cleaning, the key card inside the room was missing.During going out, I definitely kept insert the card key to the wall(to keep electricity on).The third day, when We came back to the room again, the key was back to the wall.(no apologies). but the key was not activated. Is it a comedy?4.awful breakfastthe breakfast was horrible, only gross concentrated juice.Despite only a few guest at the restaraunt, NOBODY asked the optional egg menu, and hotel staffs served their own coffee using the coffee machine for the guest. When I ask to open the wine bottle to the staff having his own coffee, but he answered “I am not working here”.Those stories are nod comedy movie, but real document at 5star hotel.
