Despite major renovation work on the courtyard roof, we were warmly welcomed. The loving and very rich breakfast was filled with bread bags and lunch was taken care of. Thank you very much to the Kröger family.

CHRISTMAS TREE SALE AT JOHMSHOFWonderful Christmas tree sawing with campfire and SUPER DELICIOUS!!! Pea soup from the goulash cannon, children's punch and mulled wine, with or without shot.In my opinion, the pea soup is THE one!!! PEA SOUP. CRAZY DELICIOUS. A large tent to sit down and best of all: FAIR PRICES!Pots are available for pea soup, mulled wine and children's punch, where everyone can put money according to their budget. WHERE IS THIS IN THESE TIMES!Perfect for families with children. What's also wonderful is the fact that you can walk on grass almost everywhere despite the rain. Normal footwear fits. The Christmas tree price is very cheap, it feels like it did 5 years ago....a nice event with a full belly and mulled wine, at fair prices!

Very nice hostess and a beautiful old house. The rooms are very simple but very clean and cheap. The breakfast room is so quaint and cozy and the breakfast is very rich with fruit and everything you could wish for. The coffee was better than in some big hotels! You slept very peacefully and felt like you were in good hands!I would definitely come back for an overnight hike or motorcycle tour! I would be happy about a new, fuller pillow 😉

Pleasant room in an old reed roof courtyard at a really moderate price. Above all, it's great that there are also single rooms and if you're traveling alone you don't have to pay the double room rate. Friendly hosts and good breakfast.

We were on the Heidschnuckenweg and slept here for one night. An old thatched roof house, protected as a monument, welcomed us here. A beautiful house. A very friendly host gave us a friendly welcome. She told us that the house needed a new roof, which we saw and unfortunately the application from the monument office was rejected. Great conversations ensued. The room and the furniture have a nostalgic charm and have been prepared with love. The breakfast room is very cozy, rustic and in keeping with the old monument house. The breakfast was also beautifully prepared and we felt that it was made with so much love. You could really feel the love of the hostess.

Everything you need for a long weekend. Nearby you have several places for children (and adults) such as a go-karting, a swimming center and a mini-golf. But you need a car. The big city of Hamburg is 50 km from the place. The homes are simple but large. We have been for the last 7 years with 14 people in 3 homes. The bun can be ordered the day before and delivered early in the morning. 😊
