First of all, the following review:I was there for two weeks as a fitter, the company I work for chose the apartment for me and paid for it. It was very spontaneous during the holiday season, so there weren't many alternatives as almost everything was fully booked.Getting there was very uncomplicated, the address is easy to reach, there is already an expressway 1.5km away. There are numerous good shopping opportunities on site. An appointment has been made in advance with the landlord for the key handover, at which he will show up on time and he will show you straight to the apartment. So far it doesn't sound bad... read on and think about your opinion...In case you think you've gotten lost... that's not the case... it's actually the prefabricated building from the 70s which is very similar to the social housing from the well-known RTL2 shows, you probably know the Ritter family from Köthen? If you like meeting strange and dubious people, you've come to the right place. The situation doesn't get any better when it comes to parking. Unfortunately, if you drive to your home after 4:30 p.m. you can only park in the no-parking area or drive through potholes and gullies in which larger animals normally swim into the forest and park in the mud. The situation is as good as in a big city... you've probably been to Berlin before? Fortunately, there were no checks here. You don't feel good when you park your car there, the area generally seems rather unsafe. I wouldn't want to do without rim locks. Now to the apartment, if you get into the apartment with your eyes closed, the misery is limited. If you keep your eyes open you get a glimpse into a hotel long before our time. In short, an empty hotel has been converted into ownership, rental, holiday and social housing. But just the apartments. The hallways have probably not been touched in the last 30 years. There is a lot of vacancy. It looks partly dilapidated. The facilities are acceptable. Just cooking is no fun here. The oven can hardly be counted as such because it is simply too small, the stove only has two burners and the refrigerator has its own smell. In the meantime there were also power outages in the kitchen. As an electronics engineer, I'd rather not go into detail right now...The bathroom serves its purpose but is also spartan and anything but modern. The living room and bedroom are fine. The Internet (both mobile network and WiFi) is like Deutsche Bahn - often not there. If you have a predisposition for spying and prying, this is exactly your apartment...through the paper-like walls you can hear everything...really everything...But there's still the television...whether it's Parkinson's or just plain I can't say he has a speech impediment, but you could play steel darts wonderfully on the standing pixels...Little things like the window, door lock, television and towel holder are broken, but that's actually not a big criticism. Conclusion:I recommend that everyone take a close look at everything around in advance, if necessary using Google streetview etc. to get an idea of the situation on site. If you personally have low expectations and are only looking for somewhere to stay for two to three nights, you can find a cheap apartment here. However, I would advise against the apartment for longer stays. There are much nicer apartments in Bad Hartzburg for a similar budget. I didn't enjoy spending my time here. However, the landlord was always courteous and helpful.
