Nice simple space. Old but with continuous renovation underway. Nicely clean. Warm and nice bath. Central for trips around the Harz and walking distance to eateries in Altenau; there is light and turf all the way.Really good value for money.

Well-kept campsite, the furnishings are partly renewed, partly also quite old.Sanitary facilities were clean, but there are only a few showers. No problem in the fall, but it will certainly be tight in the summer.There are currently construction sites at the top of the federal highway. This means that street noise is not an issue.

Nice place in a nice location. Everything was clean and well maintained without exception. Everything you need as a camper with a motorhome, right down to the breakfast rolls. Tranquil town of Altenau within walking distance. Recommended.

Beautifully located campsite. Clean sanitary facilities. Friendly operators. Hiking trails starting from the campsite. Restaurant closed at this time of year. We'd love to come back.

We spent a long weekend at the campsite with 3 mobile homes. A quiet little square, close to town, where there are opportunities to eat and shop.There are also great hiking opportunities there.The operators are very nice, there is a bread roll service and the sanitary building is tidy and clean.There are lots of information sheets at the reception about what you can do.We can't complain, we'd love to come back sometime 👍Thank you!

Very nice campsite, quiet atmosphere. Located right on the water. The sanitary facilities are very well maintained and the staff are very courteous and friendly. I felt very comfortable there and would have liked to stay longer, unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate and it got too cold in the tent. I'd love to come back in the summer.

Really very nice place, the staff is very, very friendly and really happy to help. It was relaxed and always very fun. Had a really nice time there.The toilet house is very clean. Really great. The toilets have a disinfectant dispenser. TOP!!!!There is also a bread roll service.Direct connection to bus line 861.We would definitely like to come back.

We had 3 wonderful days there with you.The operator is really nice and the son is also super nice, we were given a great welcome there even though I parked wrong ;).The place is clean and quiet, the toilets and showers are absolutely clean and renovated and the showers are specially heated.In the toilets, there are even individual disinfectants available, which is just great.We'll definitely be back ,).Thank you for these beautiful 3 days.

Very friendly and flexible owner, if you want to buy cold beer there is beer on site.Knows how guests feel comfortable, e.g. biker placed next to biker.

We stayed at this beautiful campsite for a whole week. We received a friendly welcome and a friendly farewell. The toilets were always clean the entire time and the shower rooms were cleaned daily. I also liked the location, very quiet but still easily accessible by bike, car or even bus. In summer, the dam is ideal for swimming and the hiking trails start right on the doorstep. We'd love to come back.

A wonderful place to relax!!!We spent a few great days on this small but beautifully located place right on the Oker. The operators were always friendly and helpful.The lounge, which is open at all times, offers good WiFi. Sanitary facilities/scullery are rustically tiled (90s) but always clean as they are cleaned daily.Freezer, oven, washing machine and dryer were available.Apparently the annual timber harvest takes place on the other side of the river in September, but that didn't bother us.Unfortunately there is no restaurant/snack bar directly on the square, but there is even more choice in the nearby town of Altenau.It is advisable to have tick tweezers in your luggage (especially for hikers).We would love to come back.

Well, that was a real hit when planning your vacation. Very family atmosphere and nice pitches. Very good starting point for activities. And refreshment right there. We threaten to “come back.”

We just wanted to take a look at the place, but the groundskeeper rudely sent us off! He had also already called the towing service, even though we were only just in front of the barrier.Never, ever go there again and the water stinks, we had to bathe our dog straight away.
