We had a wonderful (yoga) weekend at Kubatzki. Cleanliness, food and overall concept are really excellent. Maybe a few mosquito screens here and there would make sense - but that's about all that could be changed! We'll definitely be back ❤️

Simply brilliant. Starting with the ambience, through the service, the friendliness of the staff and last but not least the breakfast and dinner. Recommended at any time.

A very stylish and beautifully located country house style hotel, perfectly located in SPO. Yoga offer very good, breakfast very tasty and great selection. Wellness area with sauna small but nice, very good coffee and great dinner on the menu. Fruit, tea and water available free of charge all day long, great!

We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel twice, and both visits were truly enjoyable. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the city. One of the highlights of our stay was the dining experience. The hotel offers both breakfast and dinner, which were included in our stay. Breakfast was particularly delightful, offering a wide range of options to suit every taste. The only minor downside was that the coffee was a bit on the bitter side, but that didn’t detract from the overall experience.Dinner was equally impressive, with dishes that were not only fresh but also bursting with flavor. It was clear that great care was taken in the preparation, making every meal a pleasure.We also had the chance to enjoy the spa, which was a lovely addition to our stay. The spa was quiet and relaxing, providing a perfect space to unwind after a long day.Another bonus is that the hotel is dog-friendly, which was perfect for us. The location is also ideal, being very close to the city center, making it easy to explore all the main attractions. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

Absolutely not for small childrenWe went on vacation for six days at the Kubatzki in SPO with our two and a half year old daughter. In order to have a little more space, we had booked a so-called large suite a few months beforehand. When booking we stated that we were traveling with a small child (1-3 years old).When we arrived at the hotel, we were assigned a large suite, which in our opinion was life-threatening for our lively daughter. In the room there was a steep staircase with hard steps that led from the front door of the room into the bedroom and living area and was unsafe. In addition, a sofa corner was built onto the railing in such a way that our daughter could easily have climbed from the seat over the railing and fallen more than two meters onto the hard steps.Like many children her age, our daughter enjoys climbing and running around. We couldn't have let her run around in that room without watching her every second.The reception initially reacted cautiously and explained to us that there was no alternative and that we were welcome to arrive a few days later (we come from North Rhine-Westphalia and had already arrived). Only after emphatically pointing out that the situation was unacceptable for us, were we given the opportunity to choose a lower room category, in which we then had to use the sofa bed in addition to the bed - without the manager's willingness to give us the difference to the higher room category refund.This was my fourth time at Kubatzki, once on a retreat and three times with family. We have always found this place to be very relaxing. Unfortunately, after this experience we will not be coming back. It seems as if the owners' success has gone to their heads so much that they no longer care about the well-being of their guests.As usual, the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and assertive during our stay.The food is very good for adults. For small children, what the kitchen offers is difficult for a longer stay, for example a small portion of the adult meal, which is difficult for small children given the well-seasoned cuisine. There is nothing really child-friendly or geared towards small children in this regard, but the kitchen is trying very hard to find a solution.The rooms are cozy, but overall the hotel is already pretty shabby and has seen better times since the last renovation. It offers little opportunity, especially for children, to keep themselves busy or to run around. The hard steps with metal edges in the stairwell seem uninviting. The bathrooms are tiny and after showering the floor is wet because the shower walls leak.At least once during our six day stay the cleaning of the room was very superficial. Beds were made, towels were changed, but the shower, bathtub and toilet were not cleaned, the room was not vacuumed, which makes the room more uncomfortable when visiting the beach every day. Instead, the clean shower mat was placed in the shower that had not been cleaned. At 500 euros a night you would expect more at this point.The yoga offering for adults is really very good, but it does happen that an hour is canceled at short notice (10 minutes in advance) without replacement.Our conclusion: Certainly a good address for women traveling alone on retreats, mother/daughter and girlfriend trips. But absolutely not for small children.

Stay v. July 7th - 12th, 2024 as an external guest for a yoga retreat. The atmosphere is simply heavenly. Gentle sounds in the background enhance your stay in the garden and in the other rooms. The food is delicious and geared towards a healthy diet. The team cannot be surpassed in terms of friendliness and attentiveness. Thanks!!!
