A perfect little camping haven. This site was exactly what we were looking for! The camping areas were split into smaller pockets broken up my wild shrubs and plants, and benefiting from the protection of a surrounding bank (of what I’m …

I am returning to work after a cracking weekend at Wildings Campsite. We stayed in the pods and they are a great alternative to trad tent camping. Clean, tidy and I slept like a baby. …

Had a lovely camping weekend here with friends and family. The shop is well stocked and the kitchen is well equipped. A few areas that could be improved are the number of wheelbarrows. …

We camped here last weekend and had the most amazing time. The campsite is so cute and pretty and in an excellent location with Bourton on the water just round the corner. It has a kitchen with a fridge, oven, hob, kettle, pots, pans, plates etc which made life so much easier as we could cook all our own meals and have a cup of tea sitting outside the tent 🤗. They also have an on site shop which sells beautiful coffee and it’s run by a wonderful couple who are so warm and welcoming. Fully recommend!

We have just come back from 3 nights at The Wildings. It is a pretty campsite with lovely facilities for children and in a great location. However, the owners have concentrated on the 'nice touches' rather than get the basics right.  …

We just has a lovely few days on this wonderful campsite. They have created somewhere really unique with great thought and attention to detail. There are natural dividers (shrubs and plants) between the pitches which helps create a bit of privacy between everyone. The size of our pitch was brilliant, it felt really spacious with plenty of room to spread out.We had pitch 1 and, as a couple, I would highly recommend! With our tent set up to one side, the only people we could see were the tent opposite and we were close to all the on-site amenities too.[If you have children then the lower pitches would be perfect, as you have site of play area and a big open space to run around and play in]We thought the facilities were great. We loved the shack style to tie in to the look of the site and they had lots of room in them. The electric showers were perfect - being able to enjoy a cool shower when it was really hot out and a warm shower when it was chilly. They also all seemed well swept out to reduce cobwebs and creepy crawlies and cleaned regularly. We also never had to queue, even with the site at full capacity. We hired the fire pit cooking bundle and it such a great experience. I would recommend to anyone who enjoys cooking or who wants a great way to spend a few hours, one day/evening.The shop was also a treasure trove of goodies and local delights. We loved the local beers and ciders and the shop lends you an ice bucket if you buy 6 or more. This was very welcome on the very hot evening we had there. And the morning pastries!!! Absolutely delicious - and huge!. Hats off to the bakery they come from. The emails leading up to the stay were a lovely touch, as was the email we received on the day we left, thanking us for our stay. All the staff we met on-site were smiley, friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble. It really did feel like a lot of thought had gone in to ensuring the whole place felt welcoming, relaxing and in nature. We can't wait to come and stay again next year :-)

This is in a perfect location run by a really lovely welcoming family. It’s the kind of place you would bring someone who is new to camping, or if you fancied a faff-free camp yourself. That’s because the facilities are so good. A complete kitchen/dining area, kettle, microwave, fridges, crockery and cutlery. Also, ideal for families with little people.A great commitment to the environment too.

Ok campsite with great showers and toilets (no soap in most of them unfortunately). ||You have to park up and wheel your possessions in a wheelbarrow (only a few available) but this is well advertised on the website. …
