Unfortunately i don't think we got the best experience of this hotel as there was a very big party going on which meant we couldn't get into the restaurant/ bar area for food. When we tried to get room service nobody answered our calls so my husband had to go to reception to try to get us some dinner and it took over an hour to come and was barely warm. The bed was very hard but the room was nice otherwise. It was also nice to be able to use the pool etc in the morning to alleviate the aching from the solid mattress

Place is overall nice. Decent size and experience , really appreciate the gym (bit lack for lustre but good enough for older individuals), pool (small but good enough for a nice dip), sauna and steam (extremely good better than leisure centres). Breakfast buffet has a good array. Perhaps a little expensive but is still competitive.Hate the car park one way system, kept getting confused 😂. Maybe that’s just me though

Very pleasant one night stay here, actually better than I was expecting after reading some of the reviews. Check in was quick and easy and the reception area is roomy and airy. My room was on the first floor and was a good size, if a little dated but still comfortable. A lovely big fan was a welcome addition in the heat.Dinner was good, even if the katsu was a bit on the smaller side but very good and served by the friendly and efficient Maddie.Buffet breakfast with all the usual hot and cold food, all very good and a super latte from the machine. Will keep an eye out for the next time I'm due in Maidstone.

Lived 3 weeks in this hotel. Super helpful and lovely staff working there. Food you can order at the bar is super delicious. Breakfast not so great. Great gym and spa great. I am only giving 4/5 stars because of the shower situation. It is permanently attached under the celling spraying everywhere so you can't have a shower without getting your hair and Make Up wet. Because you can't disconnect shower head, I had to wash my hair in the sink for 3 weeks, when I just wanted to quickly wash my hair without having full shower and without removing my makeup. Otherwise hotel is fantastic

A great bed, good wifi, and a big room. The room I stayed in also had a fridge, which was a bonus. The hotel is pretty dated and needs some TLC, but it could be pretty nice.Food and drinks prices are ridiculous! Also, parking (in the hotels own car park) costs £5.

Hotel is truly outdated and dirty. When I walked through the door I thought I'd stepped back into the 70's. For a 4 star hotel I was amazed there was no lift. And had to pay an extra £10 for parking!! Our room was dirty with dust on the bed light and cobwebs in the corners. We expected the tea tray to be a little more up market. The bathroom was no better. Corridors where grubby, with dirty plates on the floor outside some rooms. In need of a good renovation. We've stayed in better 3 star hotels. One positive is the bed was comfy.

The hotel is good, nice reception, nice rooms and ok from a decoration point of view. Pool good and bar. The only issue is don’t use their restaurant. The chef came out lovely in white with a tall hat but he must have been an expert in chicken ding. All the food we ordered was deep fried or microwaved. It was disgusting and we had to send it back and not pay half the bill. What a shame, a bit more attention to detail and pride in what you serve would change things totally. Food here is not art and very little love.

Rooms are a lovely size, could do with a deep clean as sofa and carpets are stained. The food was nice, we had dinner in the bar and breakfast in the morning. The breakfast had a good selection. The pool, sauna, and steam room were a lovely bonus. They were not very busy, and the pool was lovely and warm.

Arrived for a 2 night stay and was greeted by a friendly receptionist. Check in was smooth and simple and we were given information on breakfast and the free health suite. The room we were given 157 was on the ground floor, it was spacious and had everything we needed. On a closer look it needed a bit of maintenance to paintwork and fixings but OK. We used the free health suite facilities which were a great relaxation after a long drive. The following day our son, daughter-in-law and new grandchild joined us at the Hotel and they accommodated our request for an adjoining room 155, which had direct door access to the car park. Breakfast was hot, variety good and plentiful - the staff helpful and friendly who accommodated our request to put tables together for a large wedding party to sit together. All in all a good stay

Hotel is overall quite nice! Location is great, right next to Leeds Castle. Staff are all kind and polite. We ate the Friday night BBQ buffet and the food was really good. The family room was massive for £119 (Fri school hols). We got 2 double beds and 1 double sofa bed and bathroom was huge! However we did notice a few things.1 - No elevators?2- Rooms and certain areas in the hotel are looking dated. It wasn't what I would expect from 4* hotel, more like a 3*.3- Jacuzzi closed for maintenance in pool - fair enough it happens, but bit of a shame.4 - Hotel restaurant was expensive. £4.50 for a coke (in-between a pint and a can size) particularly shocking. £5.90 for a cider too.5 - bill arrived from the restaurant and a £8.90 service was added!! Despite this being a buffet dinner and me serving myself my food. I don't feel like that's really on. When being provided the buffet menu we didn't see this listed anywhere on there. If I'm honest I really wanted to ask them to take this off, but felt bad. But it would mean we wouldn't bother returning. £78 for 2 adult BBQ buffets, 1 portion of chips, 1 coke and 2 ciders was a bit steep.6 - Pool isn't really true to pictures, but still a nice little gym pool that kids are welcome to use during their stay and their hours are not too restrictive so good for families.7 - No air con. Although we did have 3 fans in the room, the room was a bit stuffy. My partner really struggled to sleep, it wasn't too bad for me.8 - Breakfast was like a zoo. The hotel was at capacity, but at 9.30 (30 mins before end of breakfast) it was so busy we had to eat in the lobby. We didn't mind this as it got us away from the chaos. During peak school holidays I think they should consider doing breakfast until 11am.9 - no little biscuits on the tea tray in room.10 - Road outside bedroom was noisy! Fans in rooms drowned out a lot of the din, but certain motorbikes and loud cars were hard to ignore.Overall the hotel was nice, would I stay again? I wouldn't be adverse to staying again... but I'd probably try some other local hotels with a pool next time instead, if they were the same price.
