We had a lovely weekend in Bath. We booked two twin rooms as were a group of friends. Our rooms were the furthest away from the lifts - being twin beds I presume. …

Really enjoyed my 1 night stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Bath. Wish I could have stayed longer as Bath and this hotel, is lovely. My room was clean, modern, mattress was very comfortable and I had a wonderful view of picturesque Bath. The staff are friendly, welcoming and informative. As per usual at Doubletree, guests are welcomed with a warm and tasty cookie upon check-in. Always a nice feeling when staying with this brand of hotels. The included breakfast buffet here is fantastic. Great choice and quality ingredients including sausages, bacon, a variety of eggs and plenty more. There is everything to put together a traditional fry up on your plate, plus lots of healthy options including fruit salads and ingredients for delicious oatmeal and more.I was fortunate to be able to find an open table by the window at breakfast. If one is available take it as the view of the river and surrounding area is both beautiful and peaceful. A wonderful way to start the day before exploring beautiful Bath or traveling. This hotel is in a great central location to explore Bath by foot. The town is very walkable and almost all points of interest are nearby. Lots of great restaurants, bars and cafes across the street or within a couple minutes walk.

Horrendous Experience – Filthy Room, Mold, and Terrible Service! If I could give zero stars, I would! My wife and I stayed at the DoubleTree Hilton Bath on 19th October, and what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend turned into a nightmare. From start to finish, the experience was horrendous, and the hotel is in shocking condition. We arrived to find food crumbs and biscuits left in our room – a sign it hadn’t been cleaned properly. But it only got worse from there. When we got back later in the evening, we went into the bathroom for the first time, only to discover it was disgusting and unsafe! The air vent was clogged with months of dust, the shower door was covered in grime, and the worst part – a large patch of mould and damp on the ceiling! How can a hotel room be left in such an unhygienic state?I went down to complain, and after 30 minutes, a cleaner came up with industrial mould killer and sprayed the bathroom, filling the room with a strong bleach smell. My wife, who has asthma, had to lean out the window to breathe! Things went from bad to worse when the cleaner wiped the mould and made a massive hole in the ceiling, leaving chunks of it in the shower. To add insult to injury, reception called and offered us two free drinks – as if that would make up for the health hazard and disaster they’d left us in!We asked to be moved to another room but were told the only available room had no electricity – absolutely shocking service. The next morning, we were only offered a 40% refund on a £230 room, which is an insult considering the state of it.The conditions were disgusting, unhealthy, and the service appalling. We’ll be including photos to show how bad it truly was. Absolutely avoid this place! Unacceptable for any hotel, let alone a Hilton.

Had an excellent stay. Booked a twin room but got upgraded to a superior twin. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Sheets and towels all good. Nice clean modern bathroom (unlike the bathroom photos of the bad reviews on here). Friendly reception and staff. Fantastic location and easy access to supermarket and shops. Parking was separate at The Podium Car Park which was handy. Would definitely come back. Thankyou!

Worst experience - I stayed for two weeks in August 2024. The room was not cleaned properly during my stay. The bed was made and towels changed daily, but the bathroom and floor were not cleaned. I had to intervene to ensure the surface was cleaned. The floor was never vacuumed. The room was dirty during my 14-day stay. I have photos showing the room was not cleaned, despite management claims. Even after several complaints to reception, nothing improved.I also have a photo of bedbugs on my bed. I had my luggage treated for bedbugs. When I checked out, the receptionist refunded 10% to my credit card. It has not been refunded since August.

Really pleased with this hotel and the service offered. Staff were very welcoming and even gave my children a cookie when we checked in. Breakfast is very good and location a short walk into the high street/town (a few minutes max). Rooms are clean, quitet and spacious. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel.

The room cost £255.00, definitely not worth this. I asked for a twin room with a bath I got a double with a shower. I had to share a bed with my 88 year old Mum. The room was very small- difficult to move with our 2 suitcases. The only positive points were the location and the room was clean. It was good to have parking, but I had to pay for this as well. I wouldn't stay here again- I would go to Travel Lodge up the road. It is a lot cheaper and quality is about the same. Bath is beautiful and would love to visit this city again-just won't be staying here.

Rooms were good and functional, albeit the sofa bed for the kids was somewhat uncomfortable (only reason for the 1 less star). …

Lovely staff, central location. Parking easy in podium car park (but we did get lucky with a car pulling out as we entered £30 for 2 days). Arrived early & didn't have to wait too long for room, they kindly upgraded us & gave us chocolate. Very clean hotel, good service & fab breakfast.
