Worst place I have EVER stayed at!!!!We checked in around 2 weeks ago and the room was that small I don’t even think ants could fit through it. The beds are not comfortable what so ever and you can feel the springs on your back. The sheets had hair, stains and blood on them as well as crumbs all over the bed. The bathroom doors locked in there own and were hard to get out of. The bunk beds had loose screws and wasn’t attached to the wall making it extremely unstable causing safety hazards. The staff don’t make very clear instructions and the doors are hard to lock and open. The hotel isn’t far from the beach and the tower which isn’t a bad location spot. The wall are thin making any sort of noise travel through the whole hotel and can hear everything. I did NOT feel safe here. The windows are hard to open and shut making it breezy and cold during the night. There is a park next to the hotel where you can hear people on the park at 12am screaming making it hard to sleep for little ones and for people in general. I would not recommend this hotel as it is extremely un hygienic and dirty. The whole hotel stunk off weed that gave me a headache. The street it is on the people where arguing and screaming for around 20-30 minutes. Old men where staring at my kids as they walked past trying to speak to them. The drawers are hanging off the hinges and falling apart making no where to store your clothes. The room was extremely unsettling. I paid £57 for a room I don’t think my dogs would sleep in. I would NOT recommend what so ever!!!!!

After reading the reviews I was very sceptical of staying here but for a cheap place to stay for weekend I didn’t have high expectations but they went above and beyond , fresh white clean smelling sheets and duvet , bathroom lovely and clean , the room came with kettle two mugs and outside on a table in the hall way was brewing up stuff and cereal, the tv was a SMART TV never even expected it , I have paid much more and stayed in grotty places , this was very nice and cosy . The only thing I recommend is to bring an extra pillow with you 🤣 but over all room was nice , bed was comfy , tv working , everything in order. So all you moaning myrtles need to shush because the place is lovely especially for what you pay.

It would be easier to list what is wrong with this place than right. To start my rant off..~ The shower had as much pressure as a leaky tap.~ As we walked in, we were greeted with the unsanitary sight of a sticky carpet with paint, unknown substances and fluids from knocked over drinks.~ In the room, the window would not close, causing the room to be rather windy and chilly, despite been in summer season.~ There was a 3 tier bunk bed which remained on a tilt and was extremely wobbly, also not fixed to the wall which flagged up safeguarding issues.~ The walls were paper thin, causing noise pollution throughout the hotel brought in by other residents and visitors.~ The bed covers I could describe as paper maybe even cardboard.~ The "hosts" were respectful in regards to communication, however they lacked majorly in responsibility and did not seem to take their work seriously.~ When we got there, the room was still dirty and unhygienic from the last occupants, which indicates a lack of suitable time keeping and staff.~ The outside doors lacked majorly in security, along with some inside doors which appeared to be easily opened. This was potentially the biggest safeguading issue.~ Last but not least, there was a television, however the remote appeared to be imaginary, which pushed me over the edge. About as useful as a bike with no wheels. 😒However, with all the colours in the "residential establishment" it reminded me of a takky version of willy wonkas chocolate factory.

For the price you pay it's a perfect place for those who go on vacation who only need a room to get your head down and prefer the self service style. This place is run by one person so it is very basic. If you want one of them places where the staff fuss over you all the time the Hilton is the place you want.Staff perfectly helpful, anything you need is 1 PHONE CALL AWAY when he is awayOwner is down to earth, tries his hardest to resolve your issues however like I said it is a one man band running 2 hotels so you cannot expect Hilton, Gotham or Midland Service for the Quality Price you pay to Sleep 7 hours only.We went on holiday to holiday not to stay in our room definitely worth the price just to get your head down. This accommodation has parking on the street opposite but the land is owned by the hotel for free included in your roomWIFI PASSWORD 🔑 IN ROOM ON BEDSHOWER CLEANTOILET CLEAN, TISSUE PAPER PRESENTWINDOW OPEN AND CLOSELIGHTS WORKFRIDGE WORKS KETTLE PRESENT & WORKINGFIXTURES AND FITTINGS CLEAN AND IN GOOD CONDITIONFREE PARKINGTELEPHONE SERVICE

This was the worst place I have ever stayed. Mold on the side table the smell of the whole building of weed, the floor had stains all over where even my dogs wouldn't lay down. There was no remote for the TV so couldn't watch anything. There was mold on the shower curtain. The window couldn't close so it was freezing all night and all I could hear was people outside laughing or walking down the corridor. Towels was stained and I wouldn't stay again. We was going to stay an extra night but after the first experience it wasn't happening again. Waste of money and should be shut down with how they treated people. There wasn't ever any owner of the house and just felt like anyone could walk in, felt very unsafe to leave the dogs so we could go to the arcades. Will never ever stay again.

We all love to get away for a night now and then, but I have to say this place is one to avoid with a big stick. We arrived Saturday only to be told our room had been given to someone else, so we didn't have the 3 bed room we paid for, but after a conversation with the owner we managed to get the room back. So having the room back we went to town for a walk round and then headed back to get a rest before the evening walk through the lights. We got back to the room and went in to a completely disgusting state of a place, I've added some pictures taken. The room was tired the cupboard was falling apart, the toilet was so tight you couldn't turn round in let alone anything else. This place should be avoided at all costs. The owner was so rude to my partner on the fone as she was trying to tell him and explain, he just hung up !

We've booked 2 rooms for 1 night. Our dogs were allowed to stay with us and we had free parking. Location is great, short walk to the main street. The rooms were OK for the price, we had hot water and a comfortable bed. The noise from outside wasn't disturbing and I couldn't really hear our friends from the room next door. I think we will come back in the future.

Avoid this terrible hotel at all costs. When we arrived to check in, after booking the room roughly 1 month beforehand, we were told nonchalantly, by a very unhelpful girl (who told us she was the girlfriend of the owner), that they had overbooked, so no room available, and we had to leave and search for another hotel. Very bad hotel when there is no manager or anyone in charge at check in time. It took us 2 hours to get refund and find another hotel. Extremely distressing experience for me, my wife and 2 little girls. The thought of sleeping overnight in a public carpark was so upsetting. Absolutely avoid the Wilgar Hotel!

We stayed in the apartment for rebellion weekend. There were four of us and we enjoyed the extra space of an apartment instead of rooms in the hotel. We had a few issues but they were sorted quickly. Was great to have the hot tub after all the dancing we did. Fridge could be bigger but we managed to fit the beer in 🤣 We met and loved Derek the dog.Rebooked for next year.

We paid £50 for the night. Cheap and you get what you pay for! Most other hotels for sale night wanted £100-£120.The location was fine, 5 mins to sea front. Next to playground full of teenage hoodies.. Tesco express across the road.Bedroom basic but mainly clean. Very dusty under bed including previous occupants tissues and sunglasses. Bathroom basic and extremely tired but clean and had what you need. Tiles were coming off shower wall, shower leaked badly so was just a trickle. Tv about 12 inches across high up on the wall.Bedding was clean, coffee and kettle in the rooms, fridge, all clean. Curtains not black out.The service was good, again basic but the staff were friendly and helped us access the room no probs.Free private car park across the street. Can’t really fault it for £50, yes a spa hotel it sure as hell ain’t, but for £50 and somewhere to put your head it was perfectly fine.
