Super friendly staff. The reception guy explained everything in great detail and was able to answer every question. The hostel is also perfectly located for easy access to all the sights. London Bridge station is about a 10-minute walk away. The kitchen is very well maintained and all the washrooms are also very clean. Big respect to the whole team!

Decent hostel but extremely loud if you are in Room 1 on the first floor. The music from the downstairs bar which goes on until 2am vibrates through the bed and single paned glass windows. The toilets are kept clean, the rooms, not so much. Staff are kind and efficient.

My family traveled to London and stayed at this hostel for several nights. The first floor includes the kitchen, common area, and some rooms. We stayed on the second floor in a 12-bed room. Each floor has two toilets and two showers, which are insufficient for the number of guests, as each floor accommodates over twenty people. However, the hostel is generally clean, and there is a bar on the ground floor. The reception, however, is located in the basement.

Currently in the hostel now on the top floor at 23:30 struggling to sleep due to the noise from the pub below. Extremely loud music and an army off people stood talking on the street below the window. The pub closes at 2am. Its worth noting that i am using some very good ear plugs 37db normally they drown out the loudest of noises but not here i can actually feel the music vibrating i cant imigine what its like on the 1st floorI have stayed here before for 2 nights and didnt have issues with noise on them nights for what its worth it is now a wednesday night, previously i stayed on a tuesday and a wednesday. The curtains also let a lot of light in and theres street lights straight outside also a large gap under door off room lets a lot off light from the corridor lightsRooms and bathrooms look reasonably clean, common room has a strange smell on both visits it puts me off going in thereIf it wasn't for the noise id be happy to keep coming back but now i will avoid for sureThey also ask £20 for a deposit for the room key which i dont like either

I am writing to you to express my deep dissatisfaction and make a public complaint about the poor service received by a reception employee at the Dover Castle Hotel in London. The incident occurred on July 19 at 6:10 pm. …

I've been there for just two nights, but I had a great experience, the staff is available and kind, everything is cleaned. Just to list something that you may like and looking for: You can cook and store your own food, there are many plugs around the room, the bed is comfortable.

The best place. The rent is the cheapest I would say in the central London. The tower bridge is walkable distance only. There was no issue with bed and the room. There is a storage for luggage near reception and a personal locker for 1£ a night. The bathroom were also clean.

It was my first time to stay in a hostel but it was a good experience. Great value for a night of lodging. Front desk staff were very friendly and allowed us to store our bags in a luggage room instead of having to carry them around town with us.

Straight forward, nice clean room and bathroom facilities. Fantastic, friendly and safe atmosphere in the bar. For my first stay at a hostel ever this was definitely a brilliant experience. We stored our things in lockers provided for £1 a day. We came and went as we pleased, happily. I would recommend definitely.

My friend recommended me this place. it's dirt cheap, easy to access and convenient. Value for money. I was worried about security, but they assured me they did whatever they can to prevent theft. They had double lock with passcode, one for outer and one for inner, and keys to enter the room. They also provide free lockers and a luggage area. I had a peace of mind my stuff wasn't going to be stolen.
