I booked a suite for myself and my bridal party to get ready in. The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and friendly. They made everything easier. The room was bright and spacious and was a good back drop for the day. However in terms of value for money and the cleanliness of the hotel I was really disappointed. Firstly, the suite was a little run down, with holes in the skirting and damaged cupboards in the kitchen. The floor of the suite was not clean, leaving us with dust and dirt on feet. There were silverfish in the shower room. For a 2 night stay, we were only given 2 tea bags, 2 coffees for 2 people. You had to call down for an iron - the iron and any extra tea bags were charged to my room.

I have stayed at this property multiple times and have always enjoyed it. If you are looking for a location away from the city centre or the airport, East London is a great option. …

We stayed in a one bedroom suite which was really great value. It had a large lounge with an open plan kitchen, a big bathroom and seperate bedroom. The quality of the fittings was excellent and the style was lovely, honestly bigger and better than most apartments in London. We didn’t use the restaurant but took a quick peak inside and it looked great, it is very highly rated. Location was better than expected as the neighbourhood was fine and it’s on the central line so fast to central London.

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful hotel. Our junior suite had everything that we needed and everything was very stylish. The location is near to tube to get around and explore London. We didn't eat in restaurant but had a decent breakfast and all the staff were very friendly.

Stayed for 3 nights. On two occasions we did not have hot water to shower. Also the room is rather cold, despite the heating. Building is lovely and staff is friendly. But not very professional. Will definitely not stay at the town house again.

Hotel is in a nice area, convenient and quiet. Gym/Pool is fantastic, open 6am to 12pm so you can workout after work, which is great for non-boozy business trips.||||The breakfast menu has a lot of Middle Eastern vegetarian options. Good service from most staff.

I spent a little over a month here while I was looking for my permanent place to stay. The experience was lovely and I’m very happy I made this choice.- First of all, the hotel is in the former Town Hall building, and they preserved a lot of the original elements. It’s very funky and quirky in a good way.- Most of the staff is very kind and helpful at any time.- there’s a regular restaurant (normal London prices if you ask me).- and there’s a Michelin star restaurant as well! If you feel like treating yourself with something nice.- Although I had a longer term apartment booked, they did very thorough cleaning every day, plus provide complimentary water, coffee & tea.- The location is not far from the Central tube line and there’s also a bus very closeby that can take you to whitechapel on the district line.- they also have a pool that’s open until midnightIt was exactly what I needed and it made my landing in London a lot smoother than expected.

We stayed here in one of the Deluxe Two Bedroomed Suites on a Friday and Saturday night. We were staying in London for a family event and had my 93 yr old mother with us. Our suite was on the lower ground floor and so was rather dark however it was a good size and generally had all we needed. We did not eat at the hotel as we used our kitchen to make our own breakfast and were out the rest of the time. Our suite was large with 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms a lounge with dinning table and a fully fitted kitchen area. This did not come cheap £881for 2 nights with no breakfast (even with a booking.com discount) but then it is London I suppose.Pros: We had comfortable beds with fresh clean white linen. Pretty clean although did find a sock behind a chair in one bedroom left by a previous occupant! The hotel is near a tube station and rooms are down a quiet side street so there was no road nose at all. Our room LG2 was right by the gym and swimming pool which looked lovely but we did not use. We were able to sit in the foyer for a couple of hours after checking out at 11am on our day of departure, which family logistics necessitated, with no problem.Cons: As mentioned our suite was dark being in the basement this was not helped by the fact several of the lights did not work anyway. The fridge door in the kitchen did not fit and on arrival had not been pushed into place so the fridge was wet and dripping. We discovered a knack of closing it but the door need attention. The main bathroom was not great. The shower/bath tap arrangement was very complicated and difficult to negotiate, the hot water when it does come this boiling hot and the bath is too deep and has very high sides which make it very dangerous to get in and out of. There was no mirror in one of the bedrooms and the hanging space in the wardrobes did not allow for full length dresses.Beware that the restaurants in the hotel are both closed on a Sunday. (breakfast service finishes at 11am and is very expensive according to another family member staying there). So when I asked for a coffee while we waited in the foyer they could not supply anything. I had to go to a small cafe down the road. There are few restaurants open in the area on a Sunday but apparently the Young V and A which is just down the road has a good cafe. Conclusion: it was a good place to stay given our family circumstances. House keeping and maintenance could be better. Restaurants in the hotel are expensive and there are few others in the immediate vicinity which look good. There are some about a 15min walk away in the Broadway Market area. Probably won't stay again personally but might recommend to others with reservations explained! The

Despite having Bonvoy Titanium status, my booking request for a quiet high floor room was completely ignored. In fact, they did the opposite. They put me on the ground floor directly behind the check-in desk.  …

A nice hotel with helpful staff. I once left my laptop charger there and they held it for me until my next visit. Try to get a room on the Ground Floor as they seem to be more airy. I once stayed on the top floor and it was quite warm. Overall. A good place to stay. Not a great location but using easily available electric bikes makes it accessible.
