Brilliant hostel with super friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent 👌 the hostel was very clean, beds are comfortable. We had a good en suite, but there were plenty of toilets and showers throughout the building. You can cook your own meals in the very well equipped self catering kitchen at no extra cost. Once booked in you can come and go as you please. We parked in the car park belonging to Coalport China museum. The YHA arranged for us to use this at no extra cost. Nice lounge and games room to use so you do not have to stay in your room. I would come here again as it is also situated in beautiful surroundings.

This was an excellent hostel, really great location being around a lot of the local Ironbridge museums and a short drive from the other activities we planned.The staff were really friendly and welcoming, recommend things to do in the area. The food from the cafe was good to, pretty quick service.Rooms were a decent size, never had any problems waiting to use the shower. The shared kitchen was kept very clean and tidy. Has a games rooms with lots of toys for children to play with. The lounge was spacious and had good sized tables for us to play boardgames. The only problem with the lounge was lack of ventilation and cause it was in the sun all day it does get very very warm.Overall would definitely recommend and will probably stay again in the future.

The staff are fantastic and really welcoming. The place is clean and well maintained. Excellent value for money. I used the kitchen to cook all our meals which is a real elevation on hotel stays||It is very warm in the hostel at night - it would be nice if there were fans in each room.

I think this is a great hostel to stay. Sure, some things are a bit run down, but the building has so much character, the staff were great, it's emplaced in an area close to museums and walks. It is not next to the bridge, but it makes it so much more affordable. Honestly, it's a great option to stay in ironbridge.There are annoying green lights that won't turn off in the rooms, so bring something to cover your eyes.

Let's be honest, YHA rooms are NOT hotel rooms. Ours was very small with nowhere to sit, and the facilities were basic, most notably the creaky bunk beds. IF you can accept that, this is a fine place, well located, with excellent, friendly staff. Our continental breakfast was very good for the price, too. Travelodge rooms for roughly the same price are way better, but there you will not have half as good an experience as you will here.
