No idea what some of the recent reviews are about. They are so far away from our experience I had to re-read them to check it was for the right hotel. The room was spotless and with all decor good, lovely view, checking in was fine and the breakfast was wonderful. Cereal, yogurt, fruit and an eight item vegetarian breakfast which the chef kindly cooked veggie sausages, despite over 100 people at breakfast. It was £35 for a twin room with two full breakfasts included. I stay in all types of hotels, once a week. This is the single best, value for money stay I have ever had. It equated to around £20 for the room. £70 for all of it would've been reasonable, half that is incredible.I was surprised too how big it was. Over 300 rooms, 500 guests. Notwithstanding people unfortunately having things stolen, any other criticism is baffling and it is obviously hugely popular.

The staff were very nice .The room not so nice.Nobody could complain about the food unless you were very fussy it was hot tasty and plenty of it.Downstairs reception ,bar area was acceptable. On arriving Monday lift out of order ,and it was still out of order on leaving Friday this was not good Stairs landings and handrails needed a good cleaning. The front of hotel is a mess dead hanging baskets and planters and lots of rubbish in what could be a lovely garden .Get a local gardener in to tidy it up if I'd not arrived by coach I wouldn't have wanted to stay .

Was a great place to stay. Loved the option of paying for meals as you go, was an all you can eat buffet at a very reasonable price. Hotel staff were very helpful and room was clean and tidy.  …

Checked into this “gem” of a hotel expecting a car park, as it’s advertised car parking available. Spoiler alert: there isn’t one. …

Needs updating , dirty curtains and stained ceiling and very uneven floor. On a plus , staff were lovely and worked very hard , lovely breakfast and nice clean bedding. |On a serious note , the constant smell of cannabis is overpowering and filled the room especially at night , maybe a cannabis farm very close by.

We arrived here after a 5 hour journey and got to the hotel at midnight. The two gentlemen at the counter Friday night were bloody lovely. Warm and welcoming. They informed me that check in us from 4pm untill 6am the next day which gives you plenty of time for travel including delays! They promptly gave us our key for our room. The room was spacious and the bathroom looked like they had recently had upgraded. It was a lovely bathroom with a deep bathtub. Some of the wallpaper was peeling and was some damp but overall lovely room. The hotel isn't too far away from the beach or the town so I'm a very convenient location. Parking is first come first serve pretty much. Would definitely come back to this hotel!! I wouldn't book anywhere else.
