Fantastic location with beach views, while still being in the center of town. Great surf school affiliated with it. The room itself was clean, but I found the bathrooms smelt damp and had areas of mold around the showers. The hostel also doesn't have the best vibe about it in terms of meeting others staying there, as the social area is also a Belushi's bar which is busy with people outside of the hostel.

Had a private double with ensuite. Stayed 3 nights. Found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, and we had views of the beach from our room. Very close to local amenities, other bars, the harbour and several beaches. Had to park the car a bit of a distance away, which wasn't an issue for us, but may be for others with accessibility issues or children. The room had everything we needed and was clean and presentable - only small issues were an area of damage/exposed wood in bathroom and shower was slightly difficult to get a good temp - didn't really cause any problems for us though. The bar downstairs was great and there was a seating area overlooking the beach. We didn't experience any noise pollution from people in the bar at night - I'm a pretty light sleeper and can be a grouch without sleep! So 👌🏻 Best accommodation for the price around.

Such a good price for the location and the room, we had a sea view and the room was so clean and very modern I thought! …

We had a lovely stay at St Christophers inn, it worked really well for our large group trip of more than 30 people! The staff were very friendly and helpful through the booking/checking in and the duration of our stay. …

Fantastic place! Stayed here for one night in a female dorm and the bed was immaculate and really comfortable. I didn’t eat here but they offered really good deals for people who stayed in the hostel. Staff were super friendly and attentive too. Great place to meet people in Newquay!! Location is fantastic too.

My cousin had booked this place for my stay. I arrived with my heavy suitcase, and went to check in. And then the lady says that there was no hot water. I asked is that just the case for today? And she said today, tonight and possibly the next few days. That was my entire stay! I then asked for a refund for my cousin, which they did do. The lady said they had messaged the guests to let them know. My cousin said he didn't get any communication from them regarding this. Sadly I arrived on the actual day of my birthday and was met with this news after 8 hours of travel. But it is what it is. They also took like 30min to bring his drink out as we had decided to have a drink there whilst I frantically searched for a new hotel.

I arrived at the hostel late in the evening after spending the entire afternoon at a community hospital due to an injury I sustained that day. Normally, I camp, but given my situation, I needed indoor accommodation for the night.Although I arrived after the standard check-in time, I noticed that staff were still present. When I informed them that I did not have a reservation, I was told I could not stay. After leaving and finding another hostel, I checked online and saw that it was still possible to book a place at this hostel. Given my limited options for budget accommodation, I booked a place and returned.Upon my return, I found that a staff member was still on site. Despite my explanation about my injury and the urgent need for accommodation, I was still refused a stay. This is the first time in my extensive experience with hostels around the world that I have encountered such treatment. Additionally, I was not able to get a refund at the end.

Could not rate this stay higher! It’s the perfect location for a surfing holiday, you are literally right next to a surfing beach (and the best one in our opinion) and there is a surf school as well which we highly recommend. …

Having previously lived next-door to the place for 9 years I treated my son and his girlfriend to a night in a double room for nostalgia's sake and to catch up with his old school friends. Wish I hadn't. Room was too hot, very smelly and bed was so hard they couldn't sleep. Contacted Belushi's to be denied any kind of refund and disability discrimination against my son for being unable to tell the staff at the time about the issues, as he has Autism-a social communication disability. Wouldn't have minded so much if it was 40 quid but takes the piss for 70 quid. Also banging on about how the sea view would cost more in another hotel doesn't matter to us cos we didn't book it for the sea view having viewed the very same view from our flat for 9 years!!!

Had a double en-suite room, nice clean with the best view of the bay . |Check in was unusual, as hostel and restaurant/bar was closed for staff Xmas do. Staff made arrangements to accommodate this , and it went without a hitch. …
