Lovely hotel and great location if you are going to the nearby theatre or shopping. Although there is minimal staff nothing is too much trouble. You may have to wait a little longer to be served food but it cooked to order and every dish we had was well prepared. The staff are very hot on allergies and make sure there is no contamination during preparation, cooking and serving

A decent stay. Was woken up by traffic and the odd drunk falling into their hotel room but can't fault the staff for that. …

The staff including Helen and Karen were so welcoming and friendly. We were made to feel very welcome with a wonderful gesture of a goodie bag before and after running The Great North Run!|We wouldn’t hesitate on coming back to this hotel. |The adjoining rooms made our stay even more special.

We stayed here for the GNR and the hotel was amazing, not only was the location really easy with the metro but the staff were so thoughtful too. We were greeted with a “Good Luck” sign for all runners in reception, followed by water and Epsom salts on our race return!
