Travelodge Sheffield Central

Just returned from a 1-night stay here over the weekend and the customer service was excellent.I am normally someone who chooses high end accommodation but looking at all the hotels in Sheffield, they were all hit and miss by the comments.We decided on the Travelodge (standard room plus) as it was close to where we needed to visit plus around 5-8 min walk from the train station.Now Travelodge can have a bad rep as being pretty basic these days but I have to say we were impressed with the plus rooms on the 6th floor.The beds were really good, extra pillows give (soft) tea/coffee machine in the room (perfect) and free kit Kats - Thank you.Shower was pretty reasonable - clean bathroom and soft towels provided.The reception was always on hand and the bar is open to 4am with a good range of drinks available - lovely ladies serving at 3.30am - Thank you!We also had the breakfast and a big thank you to the ladies working on the Saturday morning - they were wonderful.Breakfast was great, plenty of options available, always refilled and coffee was nice.Thank you for a pleasant stay.

I stay here regularly and the staff are lovely. They make sure I get the same room as it means I sleep better. Karra was especially helpful to me last time I checked in. I highly recommend this place. The rooms are well kept and it’s good value for money .

Stayed one night to attend event at Sheffield Arena. Parking next door for £10 for our stay (24hrs), smooth check in and friendly staff. Booked 6th floor for only extra £5 - nice and quiet with coffee machine and Kit Kats! …

We came to this hotel for fearfest and was a perfect stay, comfy beds and amazing staff. The night staff especially were very kind and accommodating. The only name i got was olivia i think, who was really kind and helpful.

The staff and travel lodge Central, Paige, Zach and karra was really helpful, thank you for your help.||As soon as we got here they were straight on the ball and gave me some great advice for paying the parking and emissions, they also gave really kind advice on where to go and eat. ||We will be definitely coming coming again!
