Myself and my partner have stayed here twice now and both times have been pretty pleasantThe first time stayed they had the gym shut for refurbishment which was slightly inconvenient but we were gifted a couple free drinks from the bar as a way to say sorry, the second time the gym was open amd very well equipped plus all the swimming and sauna facilities are great additions to this hotel.Would i stay here again... definitely!

We have dealt with Holiday Inn events team for an event my company was organising. This was a self catering event and we needed only room hire and soft drinks provided by the hotel. …

Very small, clean rooms.Great breakfast.Fantastic location.Excellent service. For example: Celio in the restaurant went out of his way to help me find the bar menu after hours. He’s always helpful. This morning he is bringing around freshly made donuts.Similar levels of friendly service everywhere in the hotel. From the new patio service to the doorman. 😁

Very polite staff. Very efficient, too. The rooms are small but manageable. But the bathrooms are tiny with a capital T & the bathtubs are plain dangerous to get in and out of. And maybe it's acceptable in hotels, but water has to be purchased.

The location of the hotel is excellent. The hotel is quite large and has a lot of guests. We booked a standard room, which was very small. There was an option to upgrade to a slightly larger room for £23, but since we were staying for only one night, we decided to keep it as is. The room was clean. The hotel has a swimming pool, but it's not in perfect condition. The women's changing room was very dirty, with used towels lying around everywhere. It seemed like it was cleaned only once a day, at night. We were there an hour before closing, and it was just a mess, which was very unpleasant. There is a restaurant in the hotel. The food is decent, but the service is quite slow. We waited over 30 minutes to place our order and just as long to receive our food. So, if you want a quick meal, this is not the place. However, if you're not in a hurry and are looking for a relaxed and chill dining experience, you can eat here.Overall, I really liked the location of the hotel.

Standard rooms are so small, bathroom looks like a cage and the sink size is for dwarves. When you take a shower the water spills out like a fountain. Nice location BTW, for the rest a 2-star hotel with a nice bar and breakfast is good. Totally overpriced

Pros:Good locationReasonable pricePleasant to stay herePlenty of breakfastCons:The wash basin in the shower room was dirty under the edge. It took three visits to the manager to get anything done.Very limited fruit with the breakfast which was otherwise very good.Fire door from the breakfast room to the garden propped open. It said on the door: "Fire Door, Do not shut." Staff said the management had told them to keep it open.

Booked a king size. Arrived, got told I had a free upgrade to a suite due to being a status member. This I was greatly appreciative of as it was my birthday weekend, then we got to the room.Room was dated, bed was a double, bathroom was pokey and being 6’3 I couldn’t fit under the shower standing up. It certainly was the suites I am used to as part of the IHG brand.Breakfast is excellent compliments to your staff. Everything was stocked, food was hot, staff were great also.Location is perfect.Draw back was the room, but getting into the room at 2100 to be up at 0700 to race I could t be bothered to move.
