Pros: Great location close to many attractions. Rooms were clean. Friendly staff, but they can’t print anything for you (tickets etc.) unless you give them 24 hours notice. Room was cozy with nice lighting and quiet/sound proof. Bed was very comfortable. Cons: when we would come back to the room at night, there was a bit of a foul smell seemingly from the plumbing. The shower water sprays out into the main part of the washroom and makes the floors wet and slippery, and no bath mat is provided. Only one blanket and no top sheet is given, and only two pillows. Would have been helpful to have more coat hooks on the walls in the small window less room. Size of room was doable and had enough room for suitcases on the floor and to walk through. Only one outlet for plugs in the entire room was challenging as well. For the price and location, it was a good deal and was overall comfortable.

Hotel is very well located. Many beautiful sights and various restaurants/bars/clubs close by and good connections to public transportation. Rooms are a bit small (as in most hotels in comparable price categories) but offer everything you need for a city trip. Everything was clean and the view from the rooftop bar, where you can also have breakfast, was really great! The staff (especially Rochelle) was very friendly. We were even able to check in earlier and get into the room on arrival and have our luggage stored on the day of departure.

Unfortunately, we cannot recommend the Assembly Leicester Square. We would describe the hotel more as an overpriced hostel. The rooms are very small, which wasn't a big problem for us, but the cleanliness (especially in the bathroom) leaves a lot to be desired. We found hair and stains in the bathroom. Both soap dispensers were broken and had to be opened for use, there was chipped paint everywhere, the shower head was calcified. The view is falsely advertised on the website (if you book a room with a window), in the end your might look into an inner courtyard, against a wall. The window also cannot be opened. There is no lobby, rather a small broom cupboard for check-in with staff who don't even greet you.Overall, we thought about checking out early shortly after check-in. The only positive thing is the perfect location and comfortable bed.

Smallest and most basic room I’ve ever stayed in and no TV. It was clean though and shower was good size by London standards. Note they don’t supply shampoo, conditioner or bar soap. Only a hand soap pump so bring your own. It’s good for a place to sleep for a night or two max as the location is very central. Just don’t plan to stay in the room as it’s only a bed. 😂

Can’t beat this location! We were able to get everywhere in a short walk or tube ride. Rooms were clean and housekeeping came every day like clockwork. Very nice staff but very low frills/self serve type of place. Also the rooms; while nice are incredibly small. Fine for 1-2 days but for longer stays you would require more.

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was a great stay. The rooms are very small but they’re clean, the AC/heat work well, and comfortable bed. Service was friendly and check in was easy. We were able to check in early but it does cost £50. For £15, you can leave your bags though. It’s in a great location, close to everything. We walked almost everywhere but there is a metro station extremely close. One thing to note, there are about 3 steps at the main entrance. Not major but could be an issue for some. There are elevators to the rooms. Overall, a great place to stay. Definitely recommend.

We had a great stay here. Walking distance to all wanted to see, easy to access by train, and close to plenty of shopping, restaurants, and bars. The rooms are small but had everything we needed. I’d come back!

My work arranged the hotel stay and selected a windowless room, which I don’t mind, and it appears to be the smallest room on the floor based on the fire exit plans—again, not a concern for me. However, the room lacks sufficient shelving for toiletries and doesn’t have a wardrobe or bedside tables; it feels very basic. I suppose the price reflects the location, which is great for theatre and sightseeing. The staff were friendly and helpful, adding a positive touch to my experience. That said, after staying at The Hub, which is only a 20-minute walk away and also budget friendly , I found it offered better amenities. Additionally, my room was adjacent to a staff-only area, and it felt like there were elephants in there jumping on metal crates.I also encountered long hairs in the room a couple of times, which I can confirm aren’t mine since I have a shaved head. Overall, while there were some positives, I don't think I would choose to stay here again.

Stayed here for 5 nights and it was sort of love hate feeling about it. First impressions is that the rooms are way too small. There is absolutely no space to put anything, not even your luggage if you’re sharing a room. There’s a huge bunny that could be replaced with a dresser or something more useful. The bathrooms are nice but again absolutely nowhere to put anything other than a toothbrush. Also nowhere to put anything inside the shower. There’s no TV, no safe to place your valuables while you’re out, and no body lotion provided. The design concept is kinda cool but our lamps has electrical tape which made it feel very low budge and nothing like the photos. We also didn’t have a headboard, just a painted wall which, again, made it feel low budge and not like the photos. The rooms are also WAY smaller than the photos make it seem. I would only stay here again if it was for 1-2 nights and one person. On the positive side, it’s a great location for the price, staff were friendly, and checking in/out was super fast. But definitely take the above into consideration when booking as we never really felt settled in and lived out of our luggage, which felt chaotic the entire time. You definitely get what you pay for here. Our view from the 8th floor was incredible tho!

Really good service, great location in the heart of London. |Service minded and great staff. Nice rooms and clean areas. Got a restaurant on the top floor with a great view over London. |I really recommend this hotel. I was here in business but the hotel fits all different types of purposes.
