Decided to stay at the Norbreck Castle Hotel whilst working in Blackpool as I was intrigued by the many poor reviews of the Hotel on YouTube and TikTok. I got a great deal on Agoda for £35, which included breakfast. …

Cons: Low quality all round. Rooms tired and grotty ( not cleaned properly on arrival/ window broken). Attitude of staff on reception poor, I was told when complaining that I was lucky to have a room. …

Our first stay here was an exceptional deal. Rooms were clean, and breakfast was good and generous. We're booked for two more stays, unfortunately not at the same price but still good value. As with many hotels of this vintage, it is a little jaded, but still a good place to stay.

The hotel, like most of the UK, shows remnants of its former splendour. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they do everything they can to keep the hotel running and keep the guests happy. Most of the rooms have been renovated and there is no problem with them. My room was clean, the bed was perfect - with a not too soft mattress, comfortable pillows and good quality bed clothes. The breakfasts and dinners were very good value for money. There was no fancy food, at least I wouldn't expect there to be, and everything was freshly prepared and tasty. The restaurant staff were very attentive. The interior of the hotel is nice but worn by the years. The location is ideal, although of course not all rooms have a sea and beautiful sunsets view.

Visited for a Dance Comp weekend. Perfect venue for it, nice to all be together. The rooms were very basic, but ideal for what we needed it for. Walls are very thin between rooms, pleased we didn't spend much time in there. The breakfast was lovely, buffet style with a small but adequate selection. The little cafe was perfect for the kids and the bars were perfect for us adults! We got takeaways delivered a couple of nights and were able to eat them in the bar area which was lovely with lots of hungry dancers to feed!We stayed in room 150, a small double with a sea view. Whilst it wasn't spotlessly clean, it was usable.

I used to come here every year with my grandma. It was the only place me and my little sister would go on "holiday" it was so fun to go to, every time we passed through reception, we grabbed a sweet from the desk. We ran around the big open reception area all the time. The staff were absolutely amazing and the rooms were gorgeous. Honestly one of if not THE best hotel in all of blackpool.

Just got back from a weekend at the Norbreck and I really can't understand why people complain and put really bad reviews. The food was lovely with plenty of choice our room was very clean and bright the decor good. The hallway was clean and bright and the lift clean. All the staff were friendly and helpful from the cleaners and maintenance to the waiters reception and everyone else. I for one would certainly go and stay again. Norbreçk team thank you

Bedroom was acceptable. Hot water and bed was comfy. Sheets had a couple of unknown stains on but didn’t seem malicious. Bathroom door didn’t close but didn’t mind as just me. Had to wait a while to check in. Location is alright but far from most of Blackpool tourist attractions but there’s a tram stop right outside so it’s a trade off. Worth the price paid. Would stay again.

I went to a dinner at the hotel so I stayed the night to make things easy and so I could have a drink. The price was very good £39:00 including breakfast. The food served at the dinner was very good along with the service. However other parts of the hotel particularly the bar I found some of the staff to be very unfriendly and not nice. The room was exactly what you would expect for £39. The breakfast was OK.
