Went here for a short break as we were attending a luncheon in London. Room and hotel clean. Staff helpful and friendly. Only stayed for one meal in the evening. Food good not great deal of choice though. Didn't have breakfast.  …

This is a comfortable and excellent value for money hotel situated on the outskirts of London with excellent transport links to the centre, taking approximately 20 minutes. The room was clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming.

I realized I made the wrong reservation. I had emailed the hotel a few days before that we would be arriving after 00:30. I didn't get a reply. Your employee refused to accommodate us. …

Good position, rooms nice, but a lot of problems in the bathroom. Really disappointed about the services, there are, but you can't book a room in place(just online), and you have to pay for everything, even if you want the WiFi.

1st room we were given had rubbish all over the floor, not just a little bit, loads of food, leaves and other stuff. No air conditioning and it was a hot day. Second room half a loo roll. Overall grotty and corridors looked like they hadn't been vacuumed. Didn't feel safe in the neighborhood either.

So I booked this Travelodge as it said it was recently upgraded 😂 car parking is very small and a tight squeeze. Walking to reception was just grubby carpets stained all way through the hotel . Went to my room and was greeted from the smell of piss coming from the bathroom .. went down and ask for a room change .. swap rooms and still wasn’t the best .. carpets had crisps on them again in bed sheets . Shower flooded bathroom floor . All round probs one of the worst 5 hotels I’ve stayed in . Aww yea no air con ha

I don’t understand the bad reviews.Cheap hotel in a location with good connections to the center and in a safe neighborhood.Especially convenient if you are flying to/from Luton airport.Good mattresses, clean beds and good bathroom. It is true that carpet has seen better days, but it is worth it.The staff helps you with everything you need.

Booked room for a weekend away , not the biggest but that was fine as just using for sleeping (apart from stain on carpet)left hanger on door (provided by travelodge) to inform domestic that we'd like fresh towels, refill on tea and coffee bits and bins emptied; towels replaced but old ones left in bathroom, bin left full and hot drink bits not refilled.Location was OK, could easily get bus or tube to central london
