I stayed here for two nights and had a pleasant experience. The pods are compact, but the bed was quite comfortable. The location is fantastic, with plenty of restaurants nearby and easy access to the city. If you're traveling on a budget, this is a great option!

Actual place is ok. But had to leave 8 days into a 14 day stay because of live bedbug nymphs in my pod, following multiple previous reviews finding this in theirs as well. They refuse to refund this last week of stay despite it being unreasonableto expect someone to stay in a bedbug infested dwelling, and so I have had to escalate. I don't recommend the place because of the high chance of bedbugs and lack of any refund or professionalism which will mean legwork to get your money back. Screenshots attachedBedbugs are of course an unfortunate chance occurrence and places like this are obviously prone, I understand this but can't also understand a business trying to defend it rather than just refunding. A refund, and warning would have been ok, even given the devastation they can causeThey perform regular heat 'treatments' for bed bugs, but don't tell anyone that is the reason for evacuating the pods. As they don't tell anyone, people are left to just put their contaminated items right back in the pod, obviously destroying the point of any treatment. They will deny your refund by pretending that you knew that the treatment was for bedbugs or that you 'saw a guy'. Though they can't provide any evidence of this, despite having CCTV and communicating entirely via texts. They also say you can't go in the pod for that whole day, so unless you stood in the kitchen all day waiting you would not know.

Do not stay at this hell hole. I checked in and left my things in my room and went out to meet my friends for dinner. When I returned, all my belongings had gone and my room had been given to someone else. It was not possible to reach anyone from the hotel. There was no answer to phone calls or messages. I had to find a new hotel at almost midnight, which took an hour. I didn’t have my stuff and had no idea if I would ever see it again. I had to pay an expensive hotel room. The next morning the hotel finally answered. My belongings were in a garbage bag in their grubby store room. They gave me the code for the lock to the store room but did not tell me that the code to the front door had changed. Eventually I was able to get in and retrieve my belongings. They wrote saying that there had been an error on their side and that the price of the pod for the one night would be refunded. They did not even say sorry. I do not understand how a refund of £30 is in any way meant to compensate for losing all my possessions and being stranded in Hackney at midnight. Don’t stay here unless you don’t mind ending up in such a situation. In response to the comment made by the hotel: I most certainly did not cancel my room. You know this, which is why you wrote to me that the mistake had been on your side and that I would be refunded for the cost of the room. The cancellation was made later by Booking dot com, because you had given my room to somebody else. You know that I did not cancel my booking. I checked in, went out for dinner, and came back to find that you had given my room to somebody else, just a couple of hours after my check-in. I still do not understand why you did this, but you do know perfectly well that I did not check out myself. You were also completely unreachable all night.

I really enjoyed my stay here, great value for money. I stayed in a double pod with my partner. The mattress was comfortable and the pod was very spacious, we both had a good night's sleep with no issues. The staff were helpful and friendly and overall the hotel was very clean. I would highly recommend this place to family and friends and will be staying here again
